Es un lugar que me brinda mucha paz, alegría, tranquilidad; atesora recuerdos significativos para mi, y por tanto, es un lugar al que siempre quiero volver...

Today I want to take you, through images, to know my beautiful and beloved town where I have lived and keep many unforgettable and special moments, since my first months of life. It is a place that gives me a lot of peace, joy, tranquility; it treasures significant memories for me, and therefore, it is a place where I always want to return...
Este pueblo queda a las afueras de la ciudad de Barinas, cerca por cierto del estado Apure, pertenece a los Llanos Venezolanos y sus paisajes son realmente cautivadores; al admirarlos tu mente y corazón entran en un estado de completa calma y serenidad, esa es una de las razones por las que me gusta pasar vacaciones allá, la vida en si es muy tranquila y es perfecto para desconectarte de tanto caos, contaminación de todo tipo, estrés y todo lo que pesado que pueda generar las ciudades.
Mi familia por parte de mamá es de allá, toda. Incluso tengo familiares por parte de papá dentro del Estado que no cononozco aún, pero el enfoque acá es mi familia que hace vida en este pueblo. Mi mamá es completamente nacida allá, cabe destacar que yo soy Caraqueña, sin embargo, desde mis primeros meses de vida, como mencioné, me han llevado y he convivido en el pueblo, asi que puedo decir que en mi torrente sanguíneo corre sangre llanera jajaj, parte de mi crianza y niñez se dio en ese lugar.
Y respecto a mi niñez, es la etapa de donde más conservo recuerdos en el pueblo. Mi familia es muy numerosa, tengo muchos primos y por tanto cada vez que los visitaba no hacía más que compartir con ellos. En esas calles que pueden apreciar en las fotos no hacíamos más que correr y jugar gran parte del día y la noche jajaj. En los patios de las casas también, ya que todas tienen, y de esto si no quise fotografiar mucho porque es algo más íntimo de cada hogar, pero créanme que dentro de esos patios jugaba, ayudaba con las comidas, ya que muchas veces se cocina a fogón (y es lo mejor del mundo), y hasta me gustaba mucho colaborar con las tareas de lo animales. Mi abuelo, por ejemplo, trabaja con Gallos, cuando yo estaba niña tenía muchos y me gustaba ayudarle a darles la comida y agua cuando correspondía, jeje. En fin, de verdad son muchos los recuerdos bonitos que tengo de mi infancia en este pueblo.
Por otro lado, me disculpo por no haberme tomado fotos en las calles, la verdad es que muy pocas veces tenía ánimos de esto y en si también quería enfocarme en fotografiar el pueblo para que puedan conocer un poco de él. Hoy día las calles y mucho del campo está un poquito descuidado, pero hay otros espacios que se conservan y han mantenido bastante bien. Como es el caso de la Plaza, donde también tengo recuerdos de momentos divertidos en las tardes cuando ya baja un poco el Sol, porque algo que no mencioné antes es que al ser Llano el calor, la temperatura es bastante alta jajja, el Sol pareciese ser más gigante allá, cuando es medio día y hasta las 4:00 de la tarde más o menos uno realmente lo piensa para salir y caminar por el pueblo o hacer alguna actividad, por el calor intenso JAJAJA... pero esto el Sol en realidad para mi no es impedimento, me encanta, de hecho esta vez fui con la intención de conectarme un poquito más con el; la temperatura si es otro tema del que a veces le huyo, pero en cuanto al Sol de allá, lo amo muchísimo...
This town is on the outskirts of the city of Barinas, near the state of Apure, it belongs to the Venezuelan Plains and its landscapes are really captivating; when you admire them your mind and heart enter a state of complete calm and serenity, that is one of the reasons why I like to spend vacations there, life itself is very quiet and it is perfect to disconnect from so much chaos, pollution of all kinds, stress and all that heavy that can generate the cities.
My family on my mom's side is from there, all of them. I even have relatives on my dad's side in the state that I don't know yet, but the focus here is my family that lives in this town. My mom is completely born there, it should be noted that I am Caraqueña, however, since my first months of life, as I mentioned, I have been taken and I have lived in the village, so I can say that in my bloodstream runs llanera blood hahahah, part of my upbringing and childhood was in that place.
And regarding my childhood, is the stage where I have more memories in the village. My family is very large, I have many cousins and therefore every time I visited them I did nothing but share with them. In those streets that you can see in the pictures we did nothing but run and play most of the day and night hahahah. In the backyards of the houses too, since they all have them, and I didn't want to photograph much of this because it is something more intimate of each home, but believe me that inside those yards I played, helped with the meals, since many times they cook on the stove (and it is the best thing in the world), and I even liked to collaborate with the animals' chores. My grandfather, for example, works with roosters, when I was a child he had many and I liked to help him give them food and water when it was due, hehe. Anyway, I really have many beautiful memories of my childhood in this town.
On the other hand, I apologize for not having taken pictures in the streets, the truth is that I rarely had the desire to do this and I also wanted to focus on photographing the town so you can get to know a little of it. Today the streets and much of the countryside is a little neglected, but there are other spaces that are preserved and have been maintained quite well. As is the case of the Plaza, where I also have memories of funny moments in the afternoons when the sun goes down a little, because something I did not mention before is that being Llano the heat, the temperature is quite high hahaha, the sun seems to be more giant there, when it is noon and until 4:00 in the afternoon or so one really thinks about it to go out and walk around town or do any activity, because of the intense heat HAHAHAHA. .. but the sun is not really an impediment for me, I love it, in fact this time I went with the intention of connecting a little more with it; the temperature is another issue that sometimes I run away from, but as for the sun there, I love it very much....
Hoy día en el pueblo hay dos lugares para practicar deportes, específicamente Futbol, que a los niños y a todo cabellero le gusta jugar en las tardes. El primero de siempre ha sido el Campo que está justamente en frente de la casa de mi abuela, allí es sabroso correr de lado y lado jajaj y es divertido y hoy día lo encuentro relajante ver a los niños jugar. Y también está una Cancha que tienen bastante cuidada y bonita, que pudiese servir para otros deportes, pero de igual forma la utilizan para jugar fútbol, especialemente los adultos y niños más grandes.
Otro aspecto importante a mencionar es que al ser un pueblo, y no tan grande todo el mundo se conoce, de hecho lo negativo que encuentro de esto es que muchas veces albergan chismes (cuentos inventados o distorcionados sobre alguien o algo que sucedió) entre personas, pero también como punto positivo de esto, puedes hacer visitas durante el día, solo basta caminar un poquito según la distancia en donde viva esta persona, o ir en bicleta o en moto, que son los principales medios de transporte de allá. El pueblo como menciono es pequeño pero cuenta con muchas veredas, y si te pones realmente a caminar y analizar cada una sientes todo más grande jajaj, hay muchas casas dentro de todo (y por eso quizás el nombre del pueblo), no digo que llegas al punto de perderte feo, pero si realmente no conoces las salidas puedes estr rato dando vuelts consiguiendo el sitio por donde entraste o querer salir por otro lado...
En cuanto a comercios y fuentes de trabajo son pocas realmente, muchas personas viven de los trabajos de campo que la mayoría de veces realizan son los hombres. Para tener un buen trabajo que satisfaga de verdad es un poco difícil, tiene que hacer verdaderamente fuera del pueblo y no todo el mundo cuenta con vehículos propios para esto, sin embargo la gente que habita allí siempre busca la manera de salir adelante y tener sustento para sus familias. En el momento en que realicé las fotografías muchos establecimientos estaban cerrados, pero esta calle de la fotografía como tal es de bodegas, carnicería, ventas de verduras y hortalizas, farmacias, repuestos, e incluso pequeños locales donde se hacen fiestas ocasionalmente. De hecho muchos cosas allá son costosas en comparación con la Ciudad Capital por ejmplo como a comida y es una realidad que afonta las personas, pero a pesar de, hoy día se pueden conseguir co más tranquilidad productos de cesta básica y medicamentos.
Para culminar, dentro de todo es un pueblo que ofrece sobre todo mucha tranquilidad, considero que las pesonas que viven en el campo suelen ser más animadas y felices por el ambiente en el que se desenvuelven. Allá todo es muy natural, la mayoría de las personas se lavantan con los primeros rayos de Sol o cantar de los gallos; disfrutan de mucho silencio y días y noches completamente despejados. De hecho los pueblitos de este estilo tienes es el privilegio de ver Atarcederes mágicos y Admirar la Luna, Estrellas y Constelaciones en su máximo esplendor ya que poca es la contaminación lumínica que hay... estar rodeado de sabana, animales, mucho verde e incluso flores te permite, si estás conscientemente en el presente, de conectar de forma más profunda con la Vida y tu Ser. Pasar días allá es para realmente reiniciar tu mente y poner en calma todo tu cuerpo e incluso corazón, con la simple Energía de la Madre Naturaleza y el compartir con tu gente y personas queridas a plenitud...

Another important aspect to mention is that being a town, and not so big everyone knows each other, in fact the negative thing I find about this is that many times there is gossip (invented or distorted stories about someone or something that happened) between people, but also as a positive point of this, you can make visits during the day, just walk a little depending on the distance where the person lives, or go by bike or motorcycle, which are the main means of transport there. The town as I mentioned is small but has many paths, and if you really walk and analyze each one you feel everything bigger hahahah, there are many houses inside everything (and maybe that's why the name of the town), I do not say that you get to the point of getting lost ugly, but if you really do not know the exits you can spend some time walking around getting the place where you entered or want to go somewhere else...
As for businesses and sources of work there are few really, many people live from field work that most of the time are men. To have a good job that really satisfies is a little difficult, you really have to go out of town and not everyone has their own vehicles for this, however the people who live there are always looking for ways to get ahead and have a livelihood for their families. At the time I took the pictures many establishments were closed, but this street of the photograph as such is of bodegas, butchers, vegetable sales, pharmacies, spare parts, and even small places where parties are held occasionally. In fact many things there are expensive compared to the Capital City for example food and it is a reality that affects people, but in spite of, today you can get more quietly basic basket products and medicines.
To conclude, it is a town that offers above all a lot of tranquility, I consider that people who live in the countryside are usually more lively and happy because of the environment in which they live. There everything is very natural, most people wake up with the first rays of sunlight or roosters crowing; they enjoy a lot of silence and completely clear days and nights. In fact the villages of this style have the privilege of seeing magical sunsets and admiring the moon, stars and constellations in its maximum splendor since there is little light pollution... being surrounded by savannah, animals, lots of greenery and even flowers allows you, if you are consciously in the present, to connect more deeply with Life and your Self. Spending days there is to really reboot your mind and calm your whole body and even heart, with the simple energy of Mother Nature and sharing with your people and loved ones to the fullest...
