Koh Samui, an island paradise nestled in the Gulf of Thailand, has long been a favorite destination for travelers seeking sun, sea, and relaxation. With its rich history, idyllic tropical weather, and breathtaking landscapes, it's no wonder why tourists flock to this enchanting island 😍
This marks my second visit to this tropical haven, and I can't help but fall in love with every aspect of it all over again - from the delectable cuisine to the mesmerizing natural beauty. There is so much to share about this incredible trip, so I'll be breaking it up into a series of posts which I hope you guys could follow along 😊

Revisiting Koh Samui's Bliss: Part Two of My Tropical Journey
Our journey through Koh Samui continues to unfold, and with each passing day, the island seems to offer new surprises and delights. In this third and final installment, I will take you through the rest of the highlights that I have experienced during this trip! 😝
Samui Bayside: A Cliffside Oasis
The third accommodation with Samui Bayside was nothing short of spectacular. Situated atop a cliff, this villa offered panoramic views of the pristine beach below. While I regret not capturing more interior photos to share with you, I can tell you that the villa was a luxurious haven, complete with a private pool that provided endless relaxation. One unique feature was the in-house massage services available, allowing us to indulge in ultimate relaxation right in the comfort of our own villa. So, picture this: massaging by the pool, sunbed, cool breeze – what more could we ask for? 😁
A Day by the Beach
As you can see from the photos of the accommodation, a short 10-minute stroll from our villa led us to the inviting beach. Here, we dipped our toes into the crystal-clear waters, played in the sea, and lazed on comfortable bean bags set up along the shore. A delightful plate of Pad See Ew and fresh coconuts provided the perfect beachfront lunch, recharging us for an afternoon of adventure! 😋
Water Adventures Galore
We decided to take on some water sports after refueling our energy from the satisfying lunch. While jet skiing and banana boat rides are popular choices, we opted for something more adventurous: Flyboarding. The prospect of soaring above the water's surface had always fascinated me when I saw videos of others doing it, and it didn't disappoint! The feeling of hovering above the waves was exhilarating, making it an experience to remember 😄
Following the high-energy excitement of Flyboarding, we tried something a bit more tranquil: Stand-Up Paddle (SUP). Gliding along the calm waters on paddleboards provided a different perspective of the stunning coastline in Koh Samui. It was a serene and immersive way to appreciate the island's natural beauty! 😎
Rest and Recharge
After all the water sports and basking in the sun by the beach, we decided to head back to our accommodation, with a perfect way to unwind. We dashed straight to the villa's private pool, plunging in the water and quenching our thirst with cans of beer in hand. It was one of those moments when you feel like life just couldn't get any better. With our energy well spent, we eventually peeled ourselves from the pool and made our way inside to wash up and catch a quick rest before the plans we had for the night. In fact, we were so zonked out from all the fun and sun that I managed to snap a hilarious photo of my friends crashing on the sofa – a clear testament to the day's epicness! 😂
A Colorful Culinary Journey
Following our rejuvenating nap, we embarked on our evening adventure. Our destination was The Thai Tapas, nestled within the bustling Fisherman Village that all tourist to the island would definitely visit. The dishes here were innovative and presented as a fusion of cultures and flavors. A standout feature that showcased the creativity made by the chefs was the vibrant colored steamed rice, achieved with food dyes extracted from Butterfly Pea (Blue), Dragon Fruit (Pink), and Pineapple (Yellow). It was undoubtedly one of the most remarkable meals we had on the island! 🤤
A Fire Show on the Beach
After relishing our delicious meal, we decided to stroll leisurely along Chaweng Beach to aid in digestion. As we meandered along the shoreline, we found ourselves at ARKbar, a bustling beach club known for its lively atmosphere. With cocktails in hand, we settled in for an evening of relaxed conversations and allowing the sea breeze to gently hit our faces! 😇
But the highlight of the night came unexpectedly. Right on the beach, a group of performers ignited the night with a mesmerizing Fire Art Performance. As they danced and twirled with flames, our hearts skipped a beat. The intensity of their act was riveting, and we couldn't help but hold our breath at times, worrying for their safety. I mean, just look at the photo that I captured, the ball of fire was literally in his face! The crowd was left in awe by the fiery display, and we joined in applauding and showing our appreciation by generously tipping the performers. It was a thrilling and unforgettable way to cap off our day on this beautiful island! 🤗
