Friends of Hive, today I'm very happy because I was finally able to achieve one of the goals of my return to Buenos Aires before embarking on my next trip to southern Argentina: buy a backpacking backpack. I could say that the trip to San Juan was a test experience of the nomadic life and everything went wonderfully, but after seeing my companions with their comfortable and huge backpacks I knew I wanted one. In reality, I don't usually travel with so much luggage and for that my small handbag is enough, but with a backpack where I can carry everything on my back I will definitely be more comfortable ❤️.
Amigos de Hive, hoy estoy muy feliz porque finalmente pude concretar uno de los propósitos que tuvo mi vuelta a Buenos Aires antes de emprender mi siguiente viaje al sur de Argentina: comprar una mochila de mochilero. Podría decir que el viaje a San Juan fue una experiencia de prueba de la vida nómada y salió todo de maravilla, pero después de ver a mis compañeros con sus mochilas cómodas y enormes supe que quería una. En realidad no suelo viajar con tanto equipaje y para eso mi pequeño bolso de mano es suficiente, pero con una mochila en donde pueda cargar todo en mi espalda definitivamente voy a estar más cómoda ❤️.
I usually don't buy anything online, so I'm not used to deliveries by mail. Today all day I was anxiously waiting for the mail to arrive so I could see my new backpack and to increase the expectation, the postman arrived at the last minute. My sister helped me with this purchase: she really did a good job getting this backpack for a much lower price than what was listed on the page. By applying all possible discounts and coupons, we were able to save almost 10,000 ARS on its original price 😃.
Por lo general no suelo comprar nada por internet, así que no estoy acostumbrada a las entregas por correo. Hoy todo el día estuve ansiosa esperando que llegue el correo para poder ver mi nueva mochila y para aumentar la expectativa, el cartero llegó a última hora. Mi hermana me ayudó con esta compra: ella realmente hizo un buen trabajo consiguiendo esta mochila por un precio mucho menor que lo que figuraba en la página. Aplicando todos los descuentos y cupones posibles, pudimos ahorrarnos casi 10000 ARS en su precio original 😃.
I never had one of this backpack before so basically I chose this one because it was within my budget and because I liked the design. At first glance the material looks nice and the closures work well. Compared to the carry-on bag I take on my trips, this backpack is just a little bigger so I'm probably fine with the space available. Since my idea of a trip is to stay in a hostel, I only bring clothes, shoes and personal items: no tents or sleeping bags (for now) 😅.
Nunca antes tuve una de esta mochila así que básicamente esta la elegí porque estaba dentro de mi presupuesto y porque me gustó el diseño. A simple vista el material parece lindo y los cierres funcionan bien. En comparación con el bolso de mano que llevo a mis viajes, esta mochila es apenas un poco más grande así que seguramente esté bien con el espacio disponible. Como mi idea de viaje es permanecer en hostel, solo llevo ropa, calzado y artículos personales: nada de carpas o bolsas de dormir (por ahora) 😅.
Something that I saw in my classmates' backpacks and that they themselves recommended to me is that the backpack should have a hip holder. This is so that all the weight is supported with this part of the body and not with the shoulders. This was an interesting fact and luckily this backpack had that. It also has a fairly rigid back so as not to bend when walking, as well as several pockets and adjustable straps all around 😃.
Algo que vi en las mochilas de mis compañeros y que ellos mismos me recomendaron es que la mochila debe tener un sujetador en la cadera. Esto es para que todo el peso esté sostenido con esta parte del cuerpo y no con los hombros. Este fue un dato interesante y por suerte esta mochila contaba con eso. También tiene una espalda bastante rígida para no doblarse al caminar, además de varios bolsillos y correas ajustables por todos lados 😃.
This is my first backpack purchase of this type and I can't wait for the day to try it out. I suppose that's where I'll find its true usefulness, but for the moment I'm very satisfied with it. This backpack cost me 30,000 ARS ($35), really quite cheap so it is clearly not professional, but it will surely help me carry my things to my accommodation. I don't have to walk long distances with a lot of weight on it, so it's going to be more than fine for me 💖.
Esta es mi primera compra de mochila de este tipo y no veo la hora de que llegue el día para probarla. Supongo que ahí me voy a encontrar con su verdadera utilidad, pero por el momento estoy muy conforme con ella. Esta mochila me costó 30000 ARS ($35), bastante económica en verdad así que claramente no es profesional, pero seguramente me sirva para trasladar mis cosas hasta mi alojamiento. No tengo que caminar grandes distancias con mucho peso en ella, así que para mí va a estar más que bien 💖.
Something I read in the reviews of this product is that it is supposedly a 70 liter backpack but in reality it is much smaller, maybe 50 liters at most. To verify this (and also for the excitement), I stuffed the backpack with pillows. In my opinion, it is true that it is not as big as the 70 liter ones that I saw my colleagues had, but it still works for me because my original idea was to buy a 50 liter one. I think the size is good and that it is also comfortable for me to carry. What do you think 😃?
Algo que leí en las reseñas de este producto es que supuestamente es una mochila de 70 litros pero en realidad es bastante más pequeña, quizás de 50 litros como mucho. Para verificar esto (y también por la emoción), rellené la mochila con almohadas. En mi opinión, es cierto que no es tan grande como las de 70 litros que ví que tenían mis compañeros, pero igual me sirve porque mi idea original era comprar una de 50 litros. Pienso que el tamaño está bien y que también se me hace cómoda de cargar. ¿Qué les parece 😃?
The next trip is still two weeks away, but I'm glad I've resolved the backpack issue. After spending two months in the province of San Juan, I came to make this stop at my house to visit my family and friends. Now that I have overcome the barrier that a long trip is not so long if you are having fun, my idea was to be more comfortable before embarking on a trip that will last a few more months. To this luggage I am only going to add a small backpack in front to carry the computer and some minor things, and that will be all for this time. I'm already quite excited about this new ride and I feel like I'm going to be more prepared this time: now I just have to wait for the day to arrive ❤️.
Aún faltan dos semanas para el siguiente viaje, pero me alegra haber resuelto el tema de la mochila. Después de estar dos meses en la provincia de San Juan, vine a hacer esta parada en mi casa para visitar a mi familia y amigos. Ahora que ya superé la barrera de que un viaje largo no es tan largo si te diviertes, mi idea era estar más cómoda antes de emprender un paseo que va a durar algunos meses más. A este equipaje solo el voy a sumar una mochila pequeña adelante para llevar la computadora y algunas cosas menores, y eso será todo por esta vez. Ya estoy bastante emocionada por este nuevo paseo y siento que voy a estar más preparada esta vez: ahora solo falta que llegue el día ❤️.
