A short tale about Morbid Responsibility - Free write

Hey Everyone, I hope you are fine and doing great. This is my entry for the Free Write contest run by @mariannewest, today's topic is "morbid responsibility". I hope this free write Will be helpful and will enhance your knowledge.

There was a man named Tom, her wife got died and he had to take on a morbid responsibility for his young son. His aim was to project his some from the sad and harsh realities of this selfish world.

He decided that he will keep away his son from the news stories and make sure to avoid conversations about death so that his son's innocence was intact and not get damaged.

But one day he realize that his morbid responsibility was doing more harm than good. His son started to get away from life and was living a separate and alone life. He was unable to navigate the challenges of life on his own.

After realizing this he let go of his need for control so that his son was able to grow and thrive, learning to face life's challenges head-on.
