"Winging it" means to improvise or do something without proper preparation or planning. It implies relying on one's instincts or existing knowledge to handle a situation, rather than relying on a pre-arranged strategy or detailed plan. Essentially, it's about "flying by the seat of your pants" and hoping for the best. Link
Some folks do not know how to wing it, they just want to wing it all the time. Winging it does not work all the time, it functions well when you are stranded and there is no plan B. You will be passionate in making the winging work out.
The truth is that winging it always turn out better than the real plan, that's why I like it.
I know someone that does not have a plan, he attempts winging it everytime. Even when he has the time and resources to plan, he prefers winging it. He does not get what he wants sometimes but he still does not care, he still wings it.
This is not a good way to live, winging it is supposed to be a backup plan not the main plan.
