What I see: an old king and his old army, going forth to war in medieval times ... and, they probably aren't coming back because the ravens are already circling.
What I feel: It has to be an emergency, and the thing is, if these men know they have no chance of coming back, then there's also a chance that they will fight to the death harder than their opponents.
