A Liesurely Wednesday Walk at the Roxas City Plaza

December 27, 2023. The last Wednesday of 2023. Around six in the evening, my wife and the kids have not returned yet. They attended the birthday party of our youngest son's classmate. I did not go with them because I went to the wake of a friend and a former colleague who passed away a few days ago.

I thought I'd take some time to relax. And my idea of relaxing is taking a liesurely walk to the plaza and take some photos of the Christmas decorations the brightens the place at night.

My other purpose is to take some photos for the on going Outdoor Christmas Decoration photography contest. I still haven't decided which photo I will use for my entry though, and I have about 48 hours or less to decide.

The Nativity Scenes

These Nativity Scenes sit outside the City Museum just across the City Hall.
The background light of the first one changes.

The second Nativity scene is made of colored lights.

Lanterns Everywhere!

The whole plaza is almost covered with colorful lanters! It was the busy hour though. There were so many vehicls on the streets.

As of now, probably you already have an idea what type of vehicle is used as our public mode of transportation.

I went further towards the Provincial Capitol. I love the decorations they have in front of the building.

I thought I'd use this gigantic Christmas tree for my entry... But I can't seem to get the right composition.

Going back, I admired the effects of the lights on the Cathedral. The light actually changes color.

There is another gigantic tree just at the foot of the century-old bridge. Again my problem is there were too many passing vehicles.

I have other photos after this. I used my Huawei Nova 7 SE to take these photos.
I will share them as my entry to the ongoing contests.

I would appreciate it if you leave a thoughtful comment about this post below.

Thanks For Reading.
