A Tiring yet Productive Walk Through Baloy Long Beach in Subic, Zambales

Sometimes we spend a few minutes of our time to walk, while enjoying a good weather outside or just simply running an errand for the day. It depends on our plans, but it is also satisfying to go for a walk while doing something productive. As for my #WednesdayWalk for today, let me highlight the pole inspection and billing we did by walking through the Baloy Long Beach in Subic, Zambales.

One of the duties we had to accomplish is to inspect poles inside the long beach, and make sure that everything is working. We headed to the town of Subic, and it took us about 20 minutes of travel time which is not too bad when using the company car, since it might take around 30-40 minutes when riding a public transportation.

Baloy Long Beach has their own guard house, and we had to drop by to write our names and our purpose of going inside the community. We emphasized the activities that we will be doing, and the assigned security personnel let us in afterwards.

Since we already got the go signal of the security personnel on duty, we already started the productive day. As stated, it is a community just along the beach, so there are a lot of resorts around. First, we visited the Mangrove Resort Hotel, and had a quick inspection. And just in front of it is the Treasure Island Resort so it was a smooth inspection, like hitting two birds using one stone.

The inspection continued as we walked through the next resorts, which are the Wild Orchid Beach Resort and Amanente'z Resort. Unfortunately, due to the busy inspection activity we did, I did not get a chance to capture how it happens. But the previous photo above shows my colleagues doing it.

After walking around the same neighborhood of resorts, we headed to the company vehicle and went to the next important inspection we need to accomplish for the day. It is a visitation to Subic Waterfront.

We were invited inside the resort, and if you have not been in Zambales, Subic Waterfront is one of the popular resorts in the province that offers exclusive deals for staycation. When we got there, we talked to the resort's representative and discussed a few details regarding the inspection we did.

And after that, they allowed us to spend a few minutes roaming around the resort. We took advantage of this chance since the entrance fee on this resort is really quite expensive. Of course, I had to capture a photo of one of their swimming pools. This one is my favorite because of its location and the view around it.

Then, that's it for my productive walk today.
