Hope is something we as humans need to survive. We get a sense of hope from people, or the plans we make.
When this hope is take from us, as humans we tend to be withdrawn and only a handful who are strong gets to survive this stage.
Speaking via the perspective of mental health, if this stage of hopelessness is not properly managed, the individual involved will develop depression and ultimately get drowned in with which will lead to the need of seeking a psychiatrist. At this stage, a person needs their friends, loved ones and other important people to keep their mind off of the cause of this state.
HAVE I EVER FELT HOPELESS?

Personally, I have been in such stage and it was funny at all. Most times I made short term plans on how to acquire finance but it will not work out. At times, the people who call themselves my people are the ones to put me in such state. Well, thanks to my experience in life, I could walk out of this state irrespective of the fact that I have a higher trait of being an introvert.
Chill, I'll share a story with you all
HOW I BECAME HOPELESS
I have many stories but one worthy of note is the one happening currently.
Most of you in this community know me for being a nurse and I have shared many story about my journey.
However, when I decided to enter into nursing, I didn't have the money to fund it and I wanted to quite due to lack of finance. My aunty decided to give me a helping hand and she made me continue the path of nursing as she and my mom provided me with the money I needed. Going further, I entered the school, did what I could do by my self and waited for her to help which she did.
I put all my trust in her and my hope was that she will see me through my journey and I will repay her kind gestures when I start working and making something cool for my self.
Recently, the school announced that we needed to pay stuffs in school, pre-professional exams fee included and everything was around 85,000 naira which is equals 212.5 hive (given the price of hive is 400 naira for one hive).
When I told her about the fees, and the urgency because of the exams, she bluntly told me she could not do anything knowing too well that I could not go for my usual work because I have to read for the exams. I was stunt, and dumbfounded because I did not know what to do or where to go to for such amount. I felt hopeless and unable to do anything because my hands are tied with reading for exams and I couldn't do anything.
HOW I GOT PAST THIS STAGE?
Honestly, I have not gotten past through this stage yet but I have gotten past the feeling of being hopeless. Irrespective of the fact that I don't know where to go for such money, I still have hope, knowing that Jesus is never tired of miracles.
When she told me that, I just told myself that life is filled with more of hells and very little heavens so I should expect any disappointment from anybody. With this knowledge, I said to my self "life has happened again" then I went out to a calm place to re-strategize but to no avail. I just left everything in God's hand knowing to well that he has never forsook me and will not do that now, so he has a plan for me.
I contemplated posting on hive, maybe a kind author could help out but I just locked up, and continue my normal activity with hive.
HOW I AM FARING?
I'm actually doing good but the thought of how to get such amount still weighs me down. Irrespective of his fact, I am stronger now, and that's why I love learning from experience.
I am stronger and have built many defences against such situations.
CAN I STILL FACE SUCH SITUATIONS?
Yes I can but I will not face it. I will not face it because I will prepare in advance for such situations and not put all of my eggs in one basket. I'm happy to be passing through this right now and honestly, if there's nothing I am grateful for, I am grateful for the fact that I have gotten the experience and lesson the situation has to teach.
Thank you for stopping by my post, I hope to see you next time.
