So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week which is “A WEAK POINT”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic which was “THE RICH ALSO PAY”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about their thoughts on the idea that the rich should pay more taxes. Some were of the opinion that the rich should pay more taxes while some others felt that we should all pay according to how we earn.
We got to see the different reasons behind these preferences and how such decisions will affect both the state of the economy and the people at large. In the end, we can only hope the leaders will make a decision that will benefit us all in the long run.

This author told us that more focus should be placed on the rich who use various schemes just to avoid paying taxes. If there are not so many evasive maneuvers for the rich, there will be more money flowing into the coffers of the government which will in turn benefit everyone.

For this author, he told us placing heavier taxes on the rich would be unfair to them. An equal platform for everyone would be preferable, with everyone paying their taxes according to their earnings. Paying heavier taxes just because you are rich could lead to many people choosing to hide their properties just to avoid the excess taxes.

For this author, he told us that taxes are important for the upkeep of the country, being used to see to the maintenance and building of infrastructure. It’s something that can’t be avoided and there are several tax slabs, depending on the position of each individual in the community. Taxes are what make the country remain active.
