Taxes should not be different

Taxes play a significant role in a country, especially for funding public services, economic stability, and the growth of a country. Every citizen needs to pay taxes, no matter if someone is rich or poor. Whenever it comes to tax, the rule is the same for everyone.

Sometimes a thought comes to mind. Will it be a wise idea if rich people pay more tax and reduce tax for poor people? Will it be possible to implement? It's time to discuss it.

Money is equally important for both rich and poor people. Everyone needs to work hard to earn money, and nobody wants to lose money at any cost. It's quite natural, and in the case of paying extra, nobody (among rich) will agree with such kind of proposal. In fact, they have the right to do it too.

I know that rich people are more capable of paying more taxes, but being rich is not a crime for which they need to pay extra. Besides, nobody became rich overnight. Some people become rich because of their hard work and smart work with dedication. Indeed, some people are born into rich families, and they get everything without any kind of effort. That's true, but their parents, grandparents, or ancestors made that for them. It means someone paid the price to be rich, and later their generation utilized it again and again to maintain the status of rich. If they were failures, then they might face a miserable life.

Let's talk about the poor people. I know their financial condition is not good, but it's not necessary their financial condition will remain the same in the future. If they work hard, then after a certain time their financial condition will improve naturally, and their future generation will be able to live a better life if they can utilize the assets like some rich kids do.

In my country, people were charged to pay huge taxes in the case of luxurious items. And we know that the most time rich people spend on luxurious items. As an example, a car can be the best example. Rich people need to pay 200% tax for a car in my country. And poor people are not good you like, as they don't have that amount of money to buy a car. For other countries, it can be different, but in my country, it's the situation.

If rich people pay more taxes than poor people, then rich people will understand that they are paying the maximum of taxes and their contribution is most important for the country, and naturally, rich people will think lowly about poor people. Which means discrimination will come naturally, and it's not a good thing.

We pay taxes for each product we buy. It can be food, a glossary, or something else. I think when we go to buy those products, there is no way to understand whether the buyer is rich or poor. Moreover, it's difficult to take a different price for a product for different customers if the tax is different for rich and poor. It's totally an unrealistic thought, in my opinion.

Moreover, do you think it's fair that the rich pay more taxes compared to the poor? I don't think so. Someone became rich, and it's for their own effort, and they are already paying extra in some other cases, like in luxurious things and in the banking system. So, I don't support the rich paying more taxes than the poor. I think the poor can be helped through charity in case rich people are interested in it, but paying extra taxes is not a wise idea.
