HOMEMADE MOKA COFFEE

Hello! Good morning. For coffee lovers, all the recipes made with coffee are attractive to us, that is why when we visit a coffee shop, we review the menu well to see all the options that they can offer us combining coffee, and when we review their ingredients, we are more attracted to these combinations because most of them are flavors that we also love such as cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla, among others.

In my house I always prepare the traditional coffee, in my case, the guayoyo which is the typical llanero coffee of the region where I live, I also prepare the coffee with milk that I like clear and with a lot of foam, but when I visit a cafetín, I take the opportunity to enjoy the other options such as the cappuccino, moka or mocaccino coffee, latte coffee, etc.

The cappuccino has always been my favorite, although recently I had the opportunity to try a special coffee in a local coffee shop, which was mixed with chocolate and condensed milk, its flavor fascinated me. I also recently had the opportunity to try a mocha coffee with cocoa powder, as they prepared it in front of us and when I tasted it, I liked the result.

I kept that engraved flavor that I liked very much, and the images of the moment when they were preparing it, so I tried to prepare it at home. After reviewing the web I found several recipes on how to prepare a homemade mocha coffee. I bought all the ingredients and little by little I was practicing its preparation, giving it my own points of flavor, and in the end I reached an exclusive recipe with a very special flavor.

That is why I want to share with you this mocha coffee or mocaccino recipe that I have been enjoying for several days now, at snacks or in the morning.

Of course, whenever I have the opportunity to share a delicious coffee in a local café, I will do so, but I like to learn how to make at home other types of coffee besides the ones we traditionally make.

These were the ingredients I used:

-½ cup black coffee
-2 tablespoons cocoa powder
-1 tablespoon of sugar
-¼ teaspoon vanilla
-½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
-1 cup of liquid milk

The steps to make it are:

-The black coffee must be freshly brewed and very hot.

-Put the cup of liquid milk in a saucepan over low heat while whisking with a hand whisk.
-Remove a little of the foam that forms from the whipped milk and place it in a well covered cup.

-Add the coffee, vanilla, sugar and cocoa powder to the milk and continue beating.
-Remove from the heat and serve in a cup, add the reserved froth on top, stir a little, and sprinkle the cinnamon powder.
