FungiFriday ~ a Mushroom that looks like a bottle cap πŸ„β€πŸŸ«

Hi all πŸ‘‹πŸ» 😊

While wandering through a thick forest 🌳 in the middle of last September, I found this unusual looking MUSHROOM πŸ„β€πŸŸ«
Its cap looked so much like a bottle cap. It even had a little friend close to it, so it wasn’t alone in all the undergrowth and mosses. On this walk I found many more mushrooms that I will share soon with you 😊

This post will be β€œMy contribution to this #FungiFriday” by @ewkaw

It’s fun, come along…

The mushroom photos are taken with my phone 😎 on 14 September 2024 during a walk in the forest 🌳

Let’s have a look at these 2 mushrooms.

It is not a large mushroom. The texture of its cap is rather cool. The edge almost webbed together.

Looking from higher up, you see the edge of the cap better.

See how it looks like a bottle cap? At least I think so, what do you think? 😁

It stands tall between some very soft moss and all the surrounding vegetation.

Another capture πŸ“Έ

Here you can see its little friend better. It is totally different.

Photo from above, you see both mushrooms πŸ„β€πŸŸ«

…and here I say that’s all for today’s post my friends.
