- Viajar a la playa
- Pintar y decorar la casa antes de navidad
- Pasar un cumpleaños genial.
- Participar en cursos de formación académica
- Participar en la semana aniversario de la institución donde trabajo.
Estaba afanada por terminar todo lo pendiente y qué les puedo decir. Un día mi esposo se enfermó terrible con fiebre y dolor de cuerpo que no se podía ni levantar. Lo cuidé y al día siguiente mi hijo también enfermó y a las pocas hora yo también caí.
Fué terrible tener fiebre los 3. Eran temperaturas muy altas. A pesar que yo me sentía muy mal, tenía que estar pendiente de mi hijo, no convulsionara. Menos mal tenía a la mano supositorios de acetaminofen que tienen el efecto más rapido, sin embargo la fiebre era muy persistente.
Cuidar de los demás y de ti es fuerte, no quedaba suficiente tiempo para dormir. En vista de estos síntomas decidí hacer la prueba del covid y a través de mi trabajo, me gestionaron la prueba del hisopado. Lamento decirles que el resultado fué positivo.
Lloré mucho, sobre todo por saber que mi hijo y esposo estuvieran contagiados. Al final te llenas de valor y fuerza y sigues adelante. El siguiente paso era conseguir un tratamiento. Nos sentíamos tan mal que nis fuimos a la casa y una amiga que su hermano es médico me indicó el tratamiento. Este tratamiento lo debíamos hacer los 3. En el caso de mi hijo, las medicinas son pediátricas.
Pasaron días muy fuertes, a veces entraba el pánico de no poder respirar bien. La verdad es que la congestión nasal es muy fuerte y eso te bloquea un poco el oxigeno. La fiebre pasó gracias a Dios y quedaron otros sintomas molestos como dolor de cabeza, tos, dolor de garganta, dolor de cuerpo y articulaciones, congestión nasal, dolor de oidos, ganglios y dientes, pérdida del apetito, olor y sabor.
A pesar que son días dificiles lo mejor de todo es recibir el apoyo de tu familia, amigos y compañeros. Mis hermanos me hicieron una sopa, me compraron los medicamentos, estuvieron todos los días al pendiente de mi estado de salud y el de mi familia, de verdad que fueron mis ángeles. Igual mi papá, la familia de mi esposo, amigos y compañeros.
Hoy tengo 12 días y me siento mejor. Tengo menos tos, menos congestión nasal, ya estoy empezando a sentir apetito y olores; el sabor aún no lo recupero. Mi hijo y esposo se encuentran mejor que yo gracias a Dios.
La vida a veces te obliga a hacer una pausa, a mi me tocó en esta oportunidad, se me cayeron todos los planes, pero se que podré continuar luego. Debo agradecer a Dios que no tuvimos dificultad respiratoria. La salud es lo más importante.
A pesar que no pude pasar el cumpleaños como lo soñé, estuvo bien, porque mi hermano me hizo un pastel y me cantaron cumple por videoconferencia. Primera vez que vivo esta experiencia y fue bonito sentir el cariño de mi familia. A pesar de tenerlos lejos físicamente, los sentí muy cerca de mi corazón y eso es lo más hermoso de la vida.

Taking care of others and yourself is hard, there was not enough time left to sleep. In view of these symptoms I decided to do the covid test and through my work, they arranged the swab test for me. I am sorry to tell you that the result was positive.
I cried a lot, especially knowing that my son and husband were infected. In the end you gain courage and strength and move on. The next step was to get treatment. We felt so bad that we went home and a friend whose brother is a doctor told me about the treatment. This treatment was to be done by the 3 of us. In my son's case, the medicines are pediatric.
It was very hard days, sometimes I panicked because I could not breathe well. The truth is that the nasal congestion is very strong and that blocks the oxygen a little bit. The fever passed thank God and there were other annoying symptoms such as headache, cough, sore throat, body and joint pain, nasal congestion, ear, glands and teeth pain, loss of appetite, smell and taste.
Even though these are difficult days, the best thing is to receive the support of your family, friends and colleagues. My brothers made me soup, they bought me medicine, they were there every day to take care of my health and that of my family, they were my angels. So were my dad, my husband's family, friends and colleagues.
Today I am 12 days old and I feel better. I have less cough, less nasal congestion, I am starting to feel appetite and smell; I still have not recovered the taste. My son and husband are feeling better than me, thank God.
Life sometimes forces you to make a pause, it happened to me this time, all my plans fell through, but I know I will be able to continue later. I have to thank God that we did not have breathing difficulties. Health is the most important thing.
Although I could not spend the birthday as I dreamed, it was good, because my brother made me a cake and they sang my birthday by videoconference. It was my first time living this experience and it was nice to feel the affection of my family. Even though they were physically far away, I felt them very close to my heart and that is the most beautiful thing in life.
