Hola, respetados Hivers, comienzo mi post de hoy con la letra de una canción que me gusta mucho; se titula “Así es la Vida” compuesta por el cantautor Panameño: Omar Alfanno e interpretada por el Nicaragüense Luis Enrique en el Género de la Salsa; quizás la hayan escuchado en otra versión, o en otro ritmo. Me gusta porque tiene una letra controversial porque muestra las dos caras de la moneda (por decirlo así), habla de dos realidades distintas que cohabitan en una sociedad, la misma en que nosotros también nos desenvolvemos.
No sabía cómo comenzar y se me ocurrió traer a colación esta canción, porque así es la vida… asííí…

Hay quien piensa que inflando sus venas podría volar,
Esa no es la manera más sabia de hallar la respuesta,
No es lo mismo llamar al demonio que verlo llegar…

En esta canción yo veo varios enfoques de lo que quiero hablarles, por ejemplo, la manera como nos comportamos ante nuestras situaciones, resolución de problemas, toma de decisiones, y así sucesivamente, las diferentes circunstancias que nos pasan todos los días en los distintos roles que desempeñamos en la vida. Veo en esta canción dos puntos de vistas, dos percepciones, dos realidades, (dos o quizás más) eso va a depender de la interpretación del hecho en sí.
Ahora bien, pienso que el éxito o fracaso de las diversas situaciones enfrentadas en el día a día siempre va a depender de nosotros mismos; de la actitud que asumimos, de nuestra esencia, el ego, el autoestima, los valores, creencias, en fin; tiene que ver con una serie de factores que intervienen en nuestro comportamiento.
En este sentido, quiero hablar específicamente del Ego, en psicoanálisis, Sigmund Freud: "concebía el Ego, como la instancia psíquica del reconocimiento del YO".

Ese “YO” que desde que nacemos nuestros padres según sus culturas, patrones y creencias nos enseñaron a actuar de una u otra manera; creando así máscaras de supervivencia, una coraza para interactuar en un mundo exterior, donde aprendimos a buscar aprobación en el entorno, perdiendo así nuestra esencia interior; sin tomar en cuenta al otro, tratando de superarlo en todos los aspectos; creando una necesidad de tener siempre la razón, generando así la semilla de todos nuestros conflictos emocionales.
Por tal razón, creo que es momento ahora de adultos, de enfocarnos en el convivir diario; asi que, debemos revisar nuestras emociones, identificarlas primero que nada, sentirlas y luego dejarlas fluir, tenemos que aplicar la empatía (ponerse en los zapatos de los otros) en cada relación y dominar nuestro Ego, porque como dice la canción: “unos llevan a cuesta la cruz que otros deben cargar”... y como no sabemos la cruz que lleva cada quien; hay que ser amables con nuestros semejantes porque desconocemos que batalla están librando y mucho menos cuales son sus demonios internos…

In this song I see several approaches to what I want to talk about, for example, the way we behave in our situations, problem solving, decision making, and so on, the different circumstances that happen to us every day in the different roles we play in life. I see in this song two points of view, two perceptions, two realities, (two or maybe more) that are going to depend on the interpretation of the fact itself.
Now, I think that the success or failure of the different situations we face on a daily basis will always depend on ourselves; on the attitude we assume, on our essence, ego, self-esteem, values, beliefs, in short; it has to do with a series of factors that intervene in our behavior.
In this sense, I want to speak specifically of the Ego, in psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud: "conceived the Ego, as the psychic instance of the recognition of the Ego".

That "I " that since we are born our parents according to their cultures, patterns and beliefs taught us to act in one way or another; creating masks of survival, a shell to interact in an outside world, where we learned to seek approval in the environment, thus losing our inner essence; without taking into account the other, trying to overcome it in all aspects; creating a need to always be right, thus generating the seed of all our emotional conflicts.
For that reason, I think it's time now as adults, to focus on daily living; so, we must review our emotions, identify them first, feel them and then let them flow, we have to apply empathy (putting ourselves in other people's shoes) in every relationship and master our Ego, because as the song says: ... and since we do not know the cross that each one of us carries, we have to be kind to our fellow men because we do not know what battle they are fighting, much less what their internal demons are...
