Hola amigos de Hive, en esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes un video musical que realicé para un artista músico local, llamado Rafael Giordanelli, quien es uno exponente importante de la música rock en la ciudad de San Cristóbal, pues de cierto modo es uno de los pioneros en cuanto a la movida musical rockera en la ciudad. Y hecho grandes aportes a este movimiento.
Este video musical se hizo en tan solo un día, recibí un mensaje de este artista por what’s app comentándome la necesidad de realizar un video musical con urgencia para enviar a un evento importante en otro país, un evento relacionado con un grupo espiritual. Al escuchar su propuesta me pareció bastante factible, lo único con lo que no me sentía tan a gusto era el tiempo de entrega pero aun así acepté llevarla realización del video clip, para el cual recibí el apoyo de mi novia @alexeyha86, quien me prestó la cámara de la Fundación Bordes.
Así, me encontré con Giordanelli, para ir al Studio en el que se grabaría el video, la idea era simular que la canción estaba siendo grabada, asi que previamente yo había ya establecido una secuencia de imágenes fundamentales para construir el video, algo como un pequeño guión que me permitiera enfocarme en el concepto.
Mis anotaciones para el video fueron las siguientes:
Tomas de apoyo:
• Abriendo puerta del estudio
• Técnico saetándose frente a la consola, Manos moviendo perillas de consola
• Subjetiva del técnico mirando al músico grabar
• Músico sacando instrumento del case, Músico junto al técnico oyendo la pista grabada, Músico colocándose audífonos
• Agujas de equipos moviéndose, barras de audio.
Tomas de ejecución:
• Primer plano, (frontal- perfil diagonal- posterior)
• -Plano detalle de boca cantando,
• Plano detalle manos y dedos tocando guitarra,
• Plano medio ( frontal – posterior)
Una vez en el Studio me di la tarea de llevar a cabo las tomas de apoyo inicialmente, para luego solo dedicarme a la interpretación del músico. Trabajar con el artista fluyó bastante bien, ya que tenía sus ideas pero también dejándome plena libertad para trabajar mis propias ideas, fue una retroalimentación bastante efectiva, que a mi parecer se ve reflejado en el resultado del video, con el que el artista quedó muy satisfecho con lo conseguido.
El artista quería incluir algunos elementos religiosos, como una estatuilla de Ganesh, un imagen de Shiva, y una fotografía de algo así como una líder espiritual. Me pareció complicado incluir estos elementos dentro del video, pero no fue problema pues finalmente ideamos grabarlos aparte para incluirlos en edición, lo cual creo que conseguí hacerlo de forma efectiva, pues se aprecian bastante bien durante algunos segundos del videoclip.
Con respecto a la parte técnica utilicé una Cámara fotográfica, Canon, un reflector amarillo con su paral, y el trípode aunque lo llevé no lo utilicé , pues todo el video lo grabé con una técnica llamada Aberración si mal no recuerdo, en donde la cámara se ladea de un lado a otro, lo cual le da mayor estabilidad , asi como dinamismo, y contribuye a la estética visual .
Finalmente aunque conocía a este músico por ser tan icónico en la ciudad, nunca había tratado con él de forma personal, para mi fue muy grato trabajar con él, y forjamos cierto confianza y amistad que podría ser muy productiva más adelante si volvemos a trabajar juntos.

Hello friends of Hive, this time I want to share with you a music video I made for a local artist musician, called Rafael Giordanelli, who is an important exponent of rock music in the city of San Cristobal, because in a way is one of the pioneers in terms of rock music movement in the city. And made great contributions to this movement.
This music video was made in just one day, I received a message from this artist by what's app telling me the need to make a music video urgently to send to an important event in another country, an event related to a spiritual group. When I listened to his proposal it seemed quite feasible, the only thing I didn't feel so comfortable with was the delivery time but I still agreed to take the realization of the video clip, for which I received the support of my girlfriend @alexeyha86, who lent me the camera of the Bordes Foundation.
So, I met with Giordanelli, to go to the Studio where the video would be recorded, the idea was to simulate that the song was being recorded, so previously I had already established a sequence of fundamental images to build the video, something like a small script that allowed me to focus on the concept.
My notes for the video were as follows:
Supporting shots:
- Opening studio door.
- Technician sitting in front of console, Hands moving console knobs.
- Subjective of the technician looking at the musician recording.
- Musician taking instrument out of case, Musician next to technician listening to the recorded track, Musician putting on headphones, Equipment needles moving, bars moving, etc.

Performance shots:
- Close-up, (front - diagonal profile - rear)
- Close-up detail of mouth singing,
- Close-up detail of hands and fingers playing guitar,
- Medium shot (front - back)
Once in the Studio I was given the task of carrying out the support shots initially, and then just dedicate myself to the interpretation of the musician. Working with the artist flowed quite well, as he had his ideas but also leaving me full freedom to work my own ideas, it was a very effective feedback, which in my opinion is reflected in the result of the video, with which the artist was very satisfied with what was achieved.
The artist wanted to include some religious elements, such as a Ganesh statuette, an image of Shiva, and a photograph of something like a spiritual leader. It seemed complicated to include these elements in the video, but it wasn't a problem because we finally decided to record them separately to include them in the editing, which I think I managed to do effectively, because they are quite well appreciated during some seconds of the video clip.
With respect to the technical part I used a Canon camera, a yellow reflector with its parallel, and the tripod although I took it I did not use it, because I recorded the whole video with a technique called Aberration if I remember correctly, where the camera is tilted from one side to another, which gives greater stability, as well as dynamism, and contributes to the visual aesthetics.
Finally, although I knew this musician for being so iconic in the city, I had never dealt with him personally, for me it was very pleasant to work with him, and we forged a certain trust and friendship that could be very productive later on if we work together again.
