Sono @libertycrypto27 un moderatore della comunità di Olio di Balena.
Ho creato l'account @odb-contest perchè Inleo mi ha proposto di gestire l'iniziativa Top Author of the Week all'interno della comunità di Olio di Balena.
E' un iniziativa che mi è piaciuta molto perchè incentiverà l'attività di scrittura degli autori di Olio di Balena che è diminuita negli ultimi mesi e spero che questa iniziativa piacerà ai membri della comunità di Olio di Balena.
Ti spiego in breve come funziona questa iniziativa.
Come funziona l'iniziativa Migliore Autore della settimana su Olio di Balena?
Ogni venerdì di ogni settimana scriverò un post di annuncio in cui selezionerò 4 posts di 4 autori diversi.
Selezionerò 4 posts tra i posts pubblicati all'interno della comunità Olio di Balena che non sono ancora in payout nel momento in cui l'annuncio settimanale viene pubblicato.
Il mio ruolo è e sarà solo di selezionatore dei post perchè saranno sempre i membri della comunità di Olio di Balena a scegliere il Miglior Autore della settimana tramite un sondaggio votabile in un thread su Inleo.
I membri di Olio di Balena potranno votare il loro autore preferito da VENERDI fino alla chiusura del sondaggio che avverrà ogni LUNEDI alle ore: 10:00 UTC - 6:00 AM EST - 11:00 UTC+1 (ora italiana)
A partire dal secondo post settimanale annuncerò il vincitore della settimana precedente e indicherò i nuovi quattro autori che i membri di Odb potranno votare.
Nella scelta dei posts migliori considererò più elementi tra cui:
- la qualità del post: non considererò i post con meno di 500 parole (la traduzione per i post in doppia lingua non sarà considerata). Non considererò i post che non citano le fonti.
- il livello di interazione nella comunità di Olio di Balena: chi ha scritto 0 commenti durante la settimana non sarà considerato anche se ha scritto un post di qualità.
Quindi se scrivi post bellissimi ma non rispondi ai commenti che ricevi nei tuoi posts o se non leggi e commenti i post degli altri autori di Olio di Balena difficilmente verrai selezionato! ;)
Le regole da seguire per la scrittura dei post sono le stesse regole indicate da @fedesox che è il creatore della comunità di Olio di Balena:
- scrittura italiana ben accetta
- contenuti originali
- rispetto e correttezza
In base alla regola 1 su Olio di Balena possono essere pubblicati i contenuti in tutte le lingue perchè Olio di Balena è una comunità aperta a tutti gli hivers ma l'utilizzo della lingua italiana è molto apprezzata perchè uno degli obiettivi di Olio di Balena è sempre stato l'onboarding degli italiani su Hive e/o aumentare i contenuti in lingua italiana su Hive.
Per questo motivo e per questa iniziativa ho deciso di non escludere i post scritti solo in inglese ma preferirò scegliere i post scritti in italiano o in doppia lingua (ITA/ENG) per incentivare l'attività di pubblicazione e interazione di contenuti in lingua italiana su Hive perchè i contenuti in questa lingua sono pochi su Hive e mi piacerebbe che fossero di più.
Ricapitolando l'iniziativa Miglior autore della settimana è aperta a tutti (italiani e non italiani) ma procederò nel modo seguente:
- Se ci saranno più di 4 autori che hanno pubblicato posts di qualità scritti in italiano (o in doppia lingua) considererò e valuterò solo i post che contengono la lingua italiana.
- Se ci saranno meno di 4 autori che hanno pubblicato posts di qualità scritti in italiano (o in doppia lingua) considererò e valuterò anche i post scritti solo in lingua inglese.
Se non sei italiano e sei un membro di Olio di Balena sei sempre il benvenuto su Olio di Balena ma se vuoi avere maggiori chanches per essere selezionato come autore della settimana ti consiglio di aggiungere anche la versione italiana al tuo post ;)
I premi per il Migliore autore della settimana
Ogni settimana il vincitore di questa iniziativa, il migliore autore della settimana, riceverà due premi:
- il 60% delle ricompense del post settimanale
- sarà inserito nella curation list di @leo.voter da lunedì (a partire da quando @weeklytops annuncerà i vincitori) fino al venerdì.
Nota importante: leo.voter curerà solo i posts pubblicati dall'editor di Inleo.
Tranne per questo primo post di annuncio a partire dal prossimo post settimanale i beneficiari saranno sempre:
- 60% Autore della settimana
- 20% @weeklytops
- 20% @odb-contest

Choose the Best Author of the Week in the Olio di Balena community!
Hello friends and members of Olio di Balena community!
I am @libertycrypto27 a moderator of the Olio di Balena community.
I created the @odb-contest account two days ago because Inleo proposed me to run the Top Author of the Week initiative within the Olio di Balena community.
Top Author of the Week is an initiative that I really liked because it will incentivize the writing activity of Olio di Balena authors that has decreased in the last few months, and I hope that this initiative will be appreciated by the members of the Olio di Balena community.
Let me briefly explain how this initiative works.
How does the Top Author of the Week initiative work on Olio di Balena?
Every Friday of each week I will write an announcement post in which I will select 4 posts by 4 different authors.
I will select 4 posts from among the posts published within the Olio di Balena community that are not yet in payout at the time the weekly announcement is published.
My role is and will only be as a selector of posts because it will always be the members of the Olio di Balena community who will choose the Best Author of the week via a voting poll in a thread on Inleo.
Olio di Balena members will be able to vote for their favorite author from Friday until the poll closes, which will occur every Monday at: 10:00 UTC - 6:00 AM EST - 11:00 UTC+1 (Italian time)
Beginning with the second weekly post I will announce the previous week's winner and indicate the new four authors for Odb members to vote on.
In choosing the best posts I will consider multiple elements including:
- the quality of the post: I will not consider posts with less than 500 words (translation for dual language posts will not be considered). I will not consider posts that do not cite sources.
- the level of interaction in the Olio di Balena community: those who wrote 0 comments during the week will not be considered even if they wrote a quality post.
So if you write great posts but don't respond to the comments you receive on your posts or if you don't read and comment on other Olio di Balena authors' posts you will hardly be selected! ;)
The rules to follow for writing posts are the same rules given by @fedesox who is the creator of the Olio di Balena community:
- Italian writing well accepted
- original content
- respect and fairness
According to rule 1 on Olio di Balena content can be published in all languages because Olio di Balena is a community open to all hivers but the use of Italian language is highly appreciated because one of the goals of Olio di Balena has always been onboarding Italians on Hive and/or increasing Italian language content on Hive.
For this reason and for this initiative I have decided not to exclude posts written only in English but prefer to choose posts written in Italian or dual language (ITA/ENG) in order to incentivize the activity of publishing Italian language content on Hive because content in this language is few on Hive and I would like it to be more.
To recap the Best Author of the Week initiative is open to everyone (Italian and non-Italian) but I will proceed as follows:
- If there will be more than 4 authors who have published quality posts written in Italian (or dual language) I will consider and evaluate only the posts that contain Italian language.
- If there will be less than 4 authors who have published quality posts written in Italian (or dual language) I will also consider and evaluate posts written only in English.
If you are not Italian and you are a member of Olio di Balena you are always welcome on Olio di Balena but if you want to have more chanches to be selected as author of the week I suggest you also add the Italian version to your post ;)
The prizes for Top Author of the Week
Each week the winner of this initiative, the best author of the week, will receive two prizes:
- 60% of the weekly post rewards.
- will be placed on @leo.voter's curation list from Monday (starting when @weeklytops announces winners) until Friday.
important note: leo.voter will only curate posts published by the Inleo editor.
Except for this first announcement post starting with the next weekly post the beneficiaries will always be:
- 60% Author of the Week
- 20% @weeklytops
- 20% @odb-contest
@odb-contest is a young account, has little HP at the moment but will soon receive a delegation in HP and a delegation in LEO Power and will support all users in the Olio di Balena community who are active in posting and interacting!
