Hola a todos:
Hoy les traigo otro capítulo en mi viaje por Santiago.
Para darles contexto: luego de ir a Mendoza desde Buenos Aires y pasar por el Paso Libertadores en autobús, después de una nevada y un viaje de unas 15 a 16 horas entre espera y ruta hasta Santiago de Chile desde la ciudad de Mendoza, fui a visitar a mi familia de sorpresa. Fue un encuentro genial, sentimental y hermoso. Ahora en la ciudad y con el poco tiempo disponible, fui a ver cosas cerca de casa y a comprar algunas cosas. Al final de la publicación, les dejaré los links para los que quieran revivir los momentos en video.
Primero fui a caminar por los alrededores de donde me estaba hospedando, desayunando una buena empanada venezolana que podías encontrar en todos lados, lo cual es inusual para mí porque en Buenos Aires es más complicado. Después fui a unos outlets donde los precios son una locura comparados con Argentina. Todo es súper barato, incluso si no lo compras en un outlet. Particularmente, compré buzos por menos de 10 dólares, zapatillas por menos de 30 dólares, y también pude adquirir una notebook de buena calidad a muy buen precio. Les dejaré también el link al final.
También pude conocer el metro de Santiago. Es un poco más caótico que el de Buenos Aires y es más como un laberinto, pero afortunadamente muy bien señalizado y no tuve problemas para llegar a mis destinos. También probé una bebida que siempre veía en diferentes TikToks o Shorts y me gustó bastante. Hice compras de cosas venezolanas que son complicadas de conseguir en Argentina y también mucho más caras. También probé un completo (pancho) muy sabroso, que llevaba bastante palta, mayonesa y tomates en cubo, acompañado de papas fritas y unos pastelitos de queso (empanadas). Digamos que no es el más artesanal, ¡pero estaba muy bueno!
Finalizando la noche, fui a una obra de teatro que comprendía tres micro obras basadas en historias de un cabaré o algo así como un prostíbulo: las trabajadoras, trabajadores y clientes. Actuaba una nueva amiga que conocí en Santiago. Muy buena la obra, me gustaría ver otra cuando vuelva, y la acompañé con un trago de Jack Daniel's Fire en las rocas para el frío.

Today I bring you another chapter of my trip to Santiago.
For context: after going to Mendoza from Buenos Aires and crossing the Paso Libertadores by bus after a snowfall and a trip of about 15 to 16 hours between waiting and traveling to Santiago, Chile from the city of Mendoza, I went to surprise visit my family. It was a great, sentimental, and beautiful encounter. Now in the city with little time available, I went to see things near home and to buy some things. First, I went for a walk around where I was staying, having a good Venezuelan empanada for breakfast that you could find everywhere, which is unusual for me because in Buenos Aires it’s more complicated. Then I went to some outlets where the prices are crazy compared to Argentina. Everything is super cheap, even if you don’t buy it in an outlet. In particular, I bought sweatshirts for less than 10 dollars, sneakers for less than 30 dollars, and I was also able to get a good quality notebook at a very good price. I also got to know the Santiago metro. It’s a bit more chaotic than the Buenos Aires metro and more like a maze, but fortunately very well signposted, and I had no trouble reaching my destinations. I also tried a drink that I always saw in different TikToks or Shorts and liked it a lot. I bought Venezuelan items that are hard to get in Argentina and also much more expensive. I also tried a very tasty completo (hot dog), which had plenty of avocado, mayonnaise, and diced tomatoes, accompanied by fries and some cheese pastries (empanadas). Let’s say it’s not the most artisanal, but it was very good!
Finishing the night, I went to a theater play that comprised three micro-plays based on stories of a cabaret or something like a brothel: the workers, workers, and clients. A new friend I met in Santiago was acting. The play was very good, I’d like to see another one when I return, and I accompanied it with a drink of Jack Daniel's Fire on the rocks to keep warm.
