Photo of my authorship - Foto de mi autoría

🔻

Hello everyone!

Today I'm going to explain how to create a table easily and quickly.

For this we are going to use one of the tools that the platform offers us, in my case I am using Ecency, this will generate a markdown code, but do not be scared that in reality it is not necessary to be a programmer, I am going to show you what what each of the labels mean, so you can replace it with the information you need.

We are going to see only basic aspects, but very powerful, to the point of being able to create a small album or gallery of images.

In this episode we are not going to complicate our lives with advanced features, for example, the centering function, links, and other moves 😉

If you are interested in learning other aspects related to article publishing, I invite you to see my previous posts, where I also show you different tools and options that you have. In this article I am not going to mention them so as not to redound with content that has already been explained in previous articles. In any case, I am going to leave you below some direct links to my previous posts, in case you are interested in any of them, you can go and see it.

➡️ Uses of a table

A table can have different uses, for example, to create a database, create a list of guests, to prepare a cooking recipe and place the ingredients in an organized way and finally, so that you can add photographs and of this way they can be seen better, and we will see it in this video in detail.

Tables can have other uses, I'm just giving you some ideas that come to mind.

If you have any other ideas for using tables, please leave me a comment ✍️ below, to find out how else you can take advantage of this feature.

When we publish a photo directly, without using the table, what happens is that the photo looks very large.

Obviously if the photograph is large

This can take up a lot of space, but if we use the table, our photos will look smaller and well organized.

➡️ Alternative

The following image that you will see is another alternative that can help us organize our photos, and that I will teach you in a future tutorial, how to make it from scratch, it is about using a design tool called canva.

Photo of my authorship - Photo of my authorship

I wanted to tell you that this topic of creating a table was already on my agenda, but thanks to the post I saw from our friend @josecarrerag I have decided to also include how to add images and make a small image gallery.

Adding a full-size image, which can cover almost the entire screen and steal the limelight, is not the same as adding a few thumbnails to use as a reference.

➡️ Photography contests or challenges

The table is ideal for adding the capture values, which are, for example, technical details such as:

  • Camera
  • Shutter speed
  • Focal aperture
  • ISO
  • Focal distance

Among other data of exclusive interest to photographers.

Before you go, tell me below ✍️ if you found this tutorial useful, or you can also leave me a greeting so I know you read or saw the video.
