Hello, Hive friends how was your day? mine is great, special thanks to si Justin and family for this amazing community where I am marked to be a member of all the communities that I joined. Earlier, I was featured to be the hiver of the week, in fact, it's my second time to be featured for such, and the other day, I am one of the three that won the delegator raffle on the bracket that delegated 50 hive powers. Now I'm super motivated and I hope this so-called mojo, (a term that I learned from my fellow crocheters on Facebook) won't disappear as soon as it came.
The day started with a cuddle from my eldest daughter. She woke up very early that day because she is excited to go with her Wawa, my mother somewhere today. time went by, I prepared for work including my kids to be brought to Nanay's place.
When I arrived at work, a truck driver bumped into one of the fence walls and did great damage there. The guards reported the incident and the manager asked me to print the picture as evidence of the damage.
My printer is broken though it can still work, the yellow color has turned to black, we tried fixing it but nothing worked so I was forced to come to the Raw Materials Receiving area to print the document.
on the way there, a 10-wheeler truck parked to be unloaded of whatever it was carrying, and I took pictures of the reflections that were generated from its accessories.
So here I am printing without the help of the computer, cool isn't it? The printer is an EPSON L4160 which has a built-in wifi hotspot that you can connect from and then you can print directly from the phone, WIRELESSLY! how cool is that? Haha, I can't believe I'm bragging about it.
Well, after that, nothing much interesting happened at work and then I went home.
A few days ago, We asked my sister to bake a cake for my son, me, and the girls (The husband's nieces ) because it is our birth month and the family on the husband's side wanted to celebrate it in the pool on a Sunday. But instead of her baking the cakes, she taught me how to make one that night, and since then, I have self-taught through videos and was able to make lots of cakes already.
The house I very small and poorly planned making it tight and the husband is still not interested in making me the cabinets that I asked of him.
My sister, Indang measuring flour at the moment. She even got angry that I took a picture of her not wearing a mask or a bonnet.
There were lots of things that I learned from her. She does crafts in fact, she made my wedding bouquet and my wedding souvenirs. When I was in elementary, she used to teach me to wrap gifts for Christmas parties. She lets me dye her hair, and do her a manicure.

She has added all fo the dry ingredients and mixed them.
She added the liquid ingredients and mixed them again. She's fast on mixing: I thought it was easy at first but when I tried it, it was heavy and hard.
She preheated the oven while checking on her reference whether she had forgotten something before transferring the mixture to the baking tin.
Tadaaa! the result of almost an hour of waiting.
I did the same procedure to make another batch but after I finished and put the mixture inside the oven I was dying to try the cake!
the last time that my sister made the cake, I only ate a small portion. Now that I know how to make one, it would be an unlimited supply for me.
The cake is uneven which can cause a great burden when the icing is placed on top, a great excuse to time cake and eat the outer parts. haha. I'm sorry I cannot wait, I'm hungry though.
The cake looks so dense, unlike the chiffon cake that we used to have from the bakeries.
After some trimming, the cake looks even now and I have enough to pair it with coffee.
Didn't you drool on it? haha, Kidding!
I took a selfie and smiled without a denture that I have to cover with something. A great success for me.
