Hello dear AseanHive Community! It's fun time when family bonding is in the air! Whether it's by land, sea or air, so long as the tie that binds the family is intact makes
the most priceless moments!
The sea is a gift for those who wanted to keep away from the busy streets and hot weather!
By God's Grace, we were able to gather together for years due to distance from my kid's working places hence I consider this gathering phone of our precious family bonding. It's a fact that we will never be complete with the passing of their ate and Manong (term used for elder sister and elder brother) and their dad but am still happy that each left their replicas who are their spitting image. Therefore, there's still a complete number of five plus Antonia and Jab-jab, the daughter of my youngest daughter and son of my youngest son respectively. All in all, I've got 5 grandkids though the 5th one wasn't born during this time yet.
This is Jomabo Island. It's a small island that you can make a round tour in an hour. The other side has strong current so kids are not allowed to join there. My daughter made the reservation first since there are no other services available since it's exclusively used for the customers only. The good thing is that there's no signal. There's a generator during night time until 10PM but it's okay for us because it was full so we spread a wide mat outside to enjoy the beauty of the night with the moon shining up above, while we feel the cool wind around us. Such a beauty to behold and the peaceful surrounding is but a haven to wash away and freshen the fatigue bodies. It's a good place to detoxifying without the beeping of the trendy mobile phones and away from the hustle and bustle of the social media!
We feel so relaxed under the shades of the coconut tree while granny is watching over the little ones who were enjoying making holes on the sand for their little swimming pool. My grandson at the back enjoyed an offline game but later went out to join the rest.
The sea water was still shoulder deep so they enjoyed jumping. The water could reach the level of the flooring when it's high tide.
The sandbar is visible during low tide and we're allowed to stroll down.
But we should bring flag for the lifeguards to locate us in case of emergency.
The others enjoyed floating but I can't do it. Lol!
Now that's a good timing for air jump!
Everybody seems to get their shares of getting sunburns but they said it only meant that they've enjoyed their summer vacay!
We enjoyed our kayaking on the 3rd day.
Then we saw our boat service at around 3 PM during low tide. It was time to go.
Leaving our footprints in the sand....
A picturesque photo of the boat before taking off.
Time to say goodbye...
It was 3 days of excitement with my family and so we got sunburns together!
This is my entry #117 for family fun time.
