It might not be a big deal to some, but people like me who have been living in Cebu for many years now felt so proud that such bridge was created. For people who don’t know about it, the San Juanico Bridge was actually the longest bridge in the Philippines not until CCLEX or Cebu-Cordova Bridge was linked just last year. Now, Cebu has already proven to be a city that offers many things both to locals and foreigners alike, and I can’t help but be proud that CCLEX became one of them.
Now, for my experience, we first had a tour in Busay then went straight to SM Seaside to have lunch there. SM Seaside is just near CCLEX so after doing our business in Seaside, we went to CCLEX to have a much closer view of it. My sister kept on saying, “Aren’t we there yet?” referring to the end of the bridge. It was that far! That even my sister kept asking if we were there yet. LOL
It was our first time going there and we can’t help but be awed both at the view that we can see on the bridge and the bridge itself. Even my dog was looking outside, obviously, everything that he saw outside. It’s not just our first time going there, it is actually our first time on a toll expressway! Although we didn’t mind the fee and just think of it as a small price to see such a historic bridge!
And then there’s a part of the said bridge that cars can park for a few minutes to take a picture of it. And of course, we did just that. We can’t go home without documenting our first visit to it! Lmao
