Highland Mint 1 Oz Prospector Silver Round BU
Most know that I love the American prospector. This silver round depicts a prospector crouching along a tiny riverbed and panning for gold on the obverse of the coin. Across the top is engraved, "SILVER PROSPECTOR".
The chemical symbol for silver is depicted in the pattern on the back. There is a rectangle containing the words "SILVER" and "AG". On every side of the rectangle, there are inscriptions. Inscribed at the bottom is the phrase "MADE IN THE U.S.A." and at the top is the purity designation ".999." Within the rectangle, the content "FINE SILVER" is positioned on the right, and the weight "1 TROY OUNCE" is on left.
Although there are no mint marks on the silver round, the reverse has been used on other Highland Mint coins, such as the lunar series, which do contain mint marks.

Seldom do we see the Silver Prospector or the Statue of Liberty, which I will show in the next precious metals article. So watch out for it!
