Hello all #Splinterlands friends,
This is my entry for the Battle Mage Secrets weekly challenge.
This week's theme is the Keep Your Distance, so I want to share a battle from the recent with this ruleset.

The battle ruleset

• 25 mana cap - a low mana battle
• Ruleset - Keep Your Distance, Reverse Speed, and Aim True
• Splinter - Fire, Water and Death can be used in this battle

My team lineup

With these rulesets, I would like to use Death Splinter in the battle. It's because my Death monsters have slow speed and they can attack earlier with the Reverse Speed ruleset

Summoner		Thaddius Brood
1st position		Shadowy Presence - it costs 1 mana but has 4 health. I put him at the frontline to take some damage from opponent team
2nd position		Usut - slow speed and high health point. He will protect the backline monsters
3rd position		Venari Bonesmith - I choose him because I like Poison skill. It is beneficial in the battle
4th position		Ravenhood Warden - to add 2 additional armors to all of my monsters to protect them better
5th position		Halfling Alchemist - one of my favorite card in the old day. He has 1 speed and he can make the early attack to reduce the enemy tanker attack

The battle

• My enemy chose to use magic monsters in this battle with level 5 Alric Stormbringer as the summoner. I haven't seen this old sorcerer for a while, since I switched to Modern format.
• Luckily, my Thaddius Brood eliminated the benefit from Alric Stormbringer and my plan went well. I won the game after 4 rounds.
