Card Review
Prons
Decent speed and large magic damage.
Has Giant Killer that can deal double damage on monsters with 10 or more damage.
Stun has 50% chance that the target will skip attack for a turn.
Cons
- Only has a max of 4 health for a 7 mana cost monster.
Djinn Inferni is an Epic magic splinter from the Fire Element that unlike most epic cards, it is one of those that only have 2 abilities which was Giant Killer that deals double damage on monsters with 10 or more mana and Stun which causes opponent monsters to skip a turn. At max level, it has a max of 5 magic damage and 4 speed which makes it a good damage dealer but it only have 4 health which makes it vulnerable and easy target for Opportunity attacks so to prevent that, the use of Taunt monster is preferred when using this card.

Battle Phase
For this battle, we only have the Standard rule set and no modifications or restrictions with the type of monsters that can be used. Thinking of this conditions, I choose the following line- up:
The Summoner Quix the Devious though summoner abilities were disabled, it allows me to use a combination of dragon cards together with neutral cards and any element of my choosing that are available on the rule set.
I used Desert Dragon as my tank for it has the Pierce that allows the excess damage from the opponent's armor also damage the health and Trample which will allow this card to attack once again if it defeats a monster not to mention, the Giant Killer since the mana cap was at 99, it is most likely that the opponent will choose monsters with 10+ mana. When attacked by a melee monster, it has 50% chance that this monster will hit it back with Retaliate.
For the 2nd position, I placed the Carnage Titan, as a secondary tank that can also attack the 1st position monster using Reach and can attack twice per turn with Double Strike. It also has Shield which reduces melee and range damage by half.
The 3rd position, I placed Chaos Dragon for like a tertiary tank and since it is a magic card, it can attack at any position and can target anyone because of it's Scattershot ability. Each magic attacks from this card also damage the monster that is adjacent from its target because it has the Blast while providing additional miss percentage with Blind.
For my 4th card, I used Djinn Inferni which is also the featured monster for this week's battle challenge as this card will also be a vital card to hit heavy damage against monsters with +10 mana as it also have Giant Killer while petrifying the target monster with Stun.
On the 5th position, I used Countess Sinash to increase the speed of my team with Swiftness and targeting the opponent with the lowest health with Opportunity while being not targetable because it has Camouflage.
The last member of my team will be Agor Longtail which is a Taunt monster with huge health and armor and it also has Void Armor which requires magic attacks to remove the armor of this card before it can attack its health.
On the 1st round, As we both have Agor Longtail, most of the abled attacks will be directed to them but since I had Djinn Inferni, I was able to remove all 8 of its armor in 1 hit, allowing my team to deal more damage on it despite both my magic and range were de-buffed by my opponent but it does not mean that I was left unscathed as the opponent also has Scattershot which damages 3 of my monsters.
On round 2, Djinn Inferni works on his unfinished business and that was dealing the final blow on Agor Longtail as it only have 6 health against his 8 magic damage because of Giant Killer but the opponent retaliates as Arkemis the Bear before being defeated by Carnage Titan deals a massive damage on Desert Dragon followed by a frontal attack by Chaos Dragon and ended the stay of Dessert Dragon in the match.
On the 3rd round, Djinn Inferni one- shot Carnage Titan for its second giant kill but the opponent also defeated my mine but i still have the upper hand here as my Taunt is still alive with me having 4 monsters in total.
I thought it wound end on round 3 but Tinderlock activates the Last Stand and have all of it's stats to increase including it's health so it was able to dodge the final blow from Chaos Dragon but it was able to eliminate Runic Skyclaw. on the same round Djinn Inferni dealt another giant kill with the opponent Chaos Dragon making it 3.
It seems like Djinn Inferni was on the zone on this battle because despite having the same speed with Countess Sinash, being a legendary card, Countess Sinash should be the first to attack but Djinn Inferni attacks instead taking it's 4th giant kill within this battle. I guess it was because, magic attacks gets the priority of attack next to range.
Battle Recap
Here is a replay of the battle which at you can watch at 3speak or in Splinterlands.
Did your Strategy Work?
As we have high mana cap during this battle and there are no restrictions as to what monster can be used, I know that the opponent will uses multiple monsters with more than 10 mana and because of that, I included monsters with Giant Killer ability to deal more damage on my opponent and it resulted for Djinn Inferni to eat 4 Giants during this battle which makes my strategy a great success.
Do You Like Djinn Inferni?
Djinn Inferni might have low health despite it's mana cost but when it was able to pull something like defeating 4 monsters on a battle because of its huge attack, you can not hate this card but instead have a card that will help me with those type of cards.
What will you try differently next time?
Summoners & Monsters
On a different occasion, I would like to try using Djinn Inferni together with the summoners, Delwyn Dragonscale and Archmage Arius for additional magic damage and I also like the idea of magic damage blasting opponents with Yodin Zaku when it comes to monsters, Other Taunt monsters like Magnor and Coeurl Lurker will be needed so that it can be protected from opponent attacks.
