Introduction
Hello there! @Saydie here, playing Splinterlands everyday!
I'm here again for this week's Share Your Battle Challenge with the featured theme: Dragon and for this theme, I have chosen the Void Dragon. It is a 5 mana- cost magic splinter with 1 magic damage, 7 health and 5 speed at level 1.
The Battle that I will show to you is from my @crimepoet account with cards borrowed using the Nfty Arcade platform where card owners let people play thier decks then splits the profit between the borrower and the owner. The deck that I was borrowing was a max level Chaos Legion and is currently playing on the Diamond League of the Modern Format but before I show you the battle, let us learn more about this card.

Lore
As Uul waited for the next rift to open and for the assault to begin he grew bored. Reaching for the roiling fumes above, he scooped a generous portion from the sky and toyed with it, morphing the noxious cloud into different shapes. When a fell bat swooped by, he tossed the energy that had grown within the swirling mist at the creature, and the two collided in a fusion of angry hisses. What flew out of the resultant vapours was truly a marvel indeed. A sleek, almost feline body cavorted through the air; with multiple eyes and a peculiar bat-like snout, it was a dragon dissimilar to any that had come before. And it was of his own doing. Uul’s open maw twisted and stretched into what only could be described as a smile, as his new-born phased in and out of existence through the night’s shroud above.
There is talk that since the rise of Praetoria and the formation of the chaos gate, strange demons have been sighted amongst the clouds above the new continent. Some have described them as huge bat-like creatures with incredible speed, others swear they are flying invaders from the other world, but to the scholars in Draykh-Nahka who have seen their images there is no doubt, these are new, uncatalogued sub-species of dragon. For reasons unknown, these creatures spend most of their time hidden within the clouds, but from the limited studies done, it is evidenced they have a strong resistance to magic and a predilection for hunting at night when the moon is full. Card Review
Prons
Good speed and decent health that can be used as tank when melee monsters cannot be used.
The Flying ability makes it harder for both melee and range attacks while Phase allows this card to dodge magic attacks.
The Void ability half's damage from magic attacks.
Cons
At most, the damage that this card could make without summoner buff is only 2 magic damage and that is only when it at max level.
disadvantageous to use on Reverse Speed rule set.

Battle Phase
For this battle, we have Silenced Summoner rule set where summoner abilities are disabled and Keep Your Distance that bans the use of melee monsters on a 34 mana battle. Thinking of this conditions, I choose the following line- up:
The Summoner Quix the Devious though summoner abilities were disabled, it allows me to use a combination of dragon cards together with neutral cards and any element of my choosing that are available on the rule set.
I used Void Dragon, for this weeks Share Your Battle Challenge as my tank since it both has Flying and Phase that allows this card to evade both range and magic attacks and on the off- case that a magic attack hits this card, it has the Void ability to reduce magic damage by half.
For the 2nd position, I placed the Chaos Dragon, since it has the most health in my line up and the only reason that it is at this position is that it is slower than Void Dragon and does not have ability to counter against magic attacks. The Blind abilty of this card add another 15% chance that opponents will miss their attacks and the Blast deals additional damage to monsters adjacent to the target of this card.
The 3rd position, I placed Adelade Brightwing which has the Swiftness ability which will further increase the speed of all my cards making it harder to hit Void Dragon and in case one of my monster was defeated, it will Resurrect it once. It also has Repair which will be beneficial on Chaos Dragon if it ever goes front as a portion of its armor will be repaired every turn.
For my 4th card, I used Djinn Renova which has the Strengthen ability which increases the health of all monsters and the Triage will provide healing in case that the opponent attacks using a monster with abilities such as Snipe and Opportunity.
On the 5th position, I used Tortisian Chief as it provides Tank Heal so it needs to be as far to the 1st position so that it can heal monsters as long as it can.
The last member of my team will be Doctor Bllight with the Camouflage ability will be untargetable by direct attacks and it has the Affliction and Posion that prevents healing and deals -2 damage every turn. When a monster was defeated it gains +1 health with the Life Leech ability and also reduces the health of the enemy team with Weaken.
On the 1st round, despite having lots of countermeasures to prevent opponent from hitting my tank, all the initial attacks from the opponent did not miss, resulting for the Void Dragon to be defeated but then return with the use of Resurrect but also, Chaos Dragon was able to defeat Djinn Inferni and also damage Supply Runner and Magi of Chaos then the combined efforts of the team also defeated Molten Ash Golem.
On the start of round 2, After Void Dragon attacks, it was followed by Supply Runner but missed, allowing Void Dragon to survive and was healed by Tortisian Chief, restoring some of it's health but then got hit again by Gargoya Devil but it was not enough to take it down then my team continued its attack until it was only Gargoya Devil was left on the enemy team.
Finally, on round 3, we achieved the win with Chaos Dragon Dealing the final blow. Although lots of the attacks hit, it also dodge some serious damage and was able to last long enough to fulfill it's role as tank.
Battle Recap
Here is a replay of the battle which at you can watch at 3speak or in Splinterlands.
Did your Strategy Work?
My strategy this time prioritizes on speed to make my opponent miss as much as possible but it does not work well maybe because the summoner abilities were disabled during this battle but still, my team was able to win the match with no casualty.
Do You Like Void Dragon?
Void Dragon might not have the strongest attack within the game but with it's speed and the ability to dodge any type of attack makes it a good tank. It also provided damage reduction against magic which is the hardest attack type to deal with in my opinion as it can get through on most armors so there is no way that I'm not liking this card.
What will you try differently next time?
Summoners
On a different occasion, I would like to try using Void Dragon together with Delwyn Dragonscale and Archmage Arius to get more magic damage but it is also nice if the next time, I will be able to use Quix the Devious with its abilities working in order to nerf the opponent speed and range attack. But the best one I like to do is to use it with Byzantine Kitty with the additional speed while also providing the True Strike ability and Tank Heal.
