Rebellions to Bring more Excitement to the game

Rebellion edition pack Was announced in October and we have already gone through the presale time. A total of 500K packs were allocated as part of the presale and the team has already shared that the response was quite good and even beyond their expectation. The initial response was amazing because almost 200K packs were sold out in a few hours. There have been similar situations in the past as well when in promotional sales the assets were sold out in minutes and this shows how much the community is about the game and how they want to try it out.

Now the presale time is over already and we are moving towards the general sale that will be starting from December 5th. The general sale means everyone will be able to buy the packs. There will be no additional benefits on this sale and this will be ongoing on the website for a long time. There is no need to run for the sale because it will have enough inventory. The total supply of the pack is 10 million and out of this half a million is already gone in presale. Now we are left with 9.5 million packs and this is a primary version. I mean to say this is not a mini edition in the game like we have [riftwatchers](@leoglossary/leoglossary-riftwatchers-mini-edition.

Rebellions are Revealed

Now we have a sneak peek of various cards from the rebellion version and this has created excitement in the game. Now we know that the general sale is scheduled to happen from fifth December onwards. So we are left with almost 10 days to experience the card because I believe the cards will be available in the market from that day. We will also be able to open the pack and see what our luck is going to give us out of the card. This is not financial advice I think but sometimes buying a pack can be a good decision however if you are card-specific then the market is the better place. So in this post, I'll be sharing some of the cards that I find interesting. I also hope that the rebellion does not surpass the power of Chaos Legion because my primary card holding is from this Chaos Legion edition.

Four New Abilities

Believe it or not but the abilities are the key component in the game. Any player will agree with me that having different abilities in the game helps to give more variety to players and this also creates demand for the card. Abilities are spread across the cards and we need different cards in our account to play the battle because one card can't have so many abilities altogether. Although some cards are introduced with some nice abilities at different levels it empowers the game. But if we want a bunch of abilities available with us in our deck then it is important to have a bunch of cards from different elements.

Now we are going to have four new abilities in the game which are looking quite exciting. I look forward to seeing how these abilities will add more fun to gaming because gaming is all about fun and reward is secondary. Maybe for some people out there, the reward can be the priority but for me, the entertainment part of the game is the priority. All these new abilities look great but I think I will need to spend some time to have a better understanding of them. There are many new things introduced in the game in the last few months and with those changes I try to get myself familiar.

Three New Tactics

While we talked about abilities already we cannot ignore the tactics we are going to get in the game. So yes you heard it right that we are going to have three new tactics with this new addition. I am very familiar with the dual element and I expect that this is going to be a game-changer in splinterlands. The other two are also looking good but with dual elements, I expect more attention from the players. Anyways all these three new tactics are going to make the game fun and this is another exciting part. Altogether it is going to be a bunch of excitement that includes four new abilities and three new tactics along with ninety-two new cards coming out of this version of the game.

This is not just a new version of the game but this time there have been a lot of changes considered that will be coming across and even the airdrop mechanism is changed. For the first time they have a burning mechanism in place where if the packs are not sold out within the stipulated timeline, they will be burned. It's better to burn early rather than be late like we have seen with the previous two editions.

I have not purchased any pack and I have my reason. I surely want to have the cards from the rebellion in my deck but with the pack, I do not know what cards I'll be getting. I'm not a veil and I'll be investing some limited money on the cards so I will prefer to pick the cards that I want instead of getting some random cards from the packs that may not be good enough for me. I did the same with Chaos Legion as well and I did buy very few packs. Later I invested quite a good amount on the cards and now I hold most of my card collection from the CL version. I'll be trying to do the same with Rebellion but it will be a bit slow process for me because I do not have any big sum available with me so things will be done in parts.
