
Hello, Splinterlovers, today I will make a blog again about the Splinterlands contest Battle Mage Secrets Challenge. This Week's Theme is Lost Legendaries ruleset.
I usually battled in the Modern Format Diamond League using my 2 scholar accounts from Balthazar scholar bltzr-wizard-710 and bltzr-wizard-711.

Ruleset

Lost Legendaries: can not use the Legendary monsters.
FiveAlive, only five units can be used in this battle.Born Again ruleset all monsters have the Rebirth ability.
- Rebirth ability, when this monster dies it will self-resurrect with 1 Health/HP once per battle. If this monster has base armor before it will restore fully.
mana cap.
can use Fire, and Earth element.

My Lineup and strategy
- With my limited knowledge about this game and the card I have, I think for the ruleset Lost Legendaries in this battle means less speed and damage in Fire cause can't use Countess Sinash and no armor buff in the Earth element because can't use Queen Mycelia.

- For the Born Again ruleset we will bring a healer if lucky enough when the unit is brought back to life we can heal it.
We decided to use the Earth element because it has a tanker with the help of a summoner that is good against any attack. We will bring the unit with good HP to increase the Heal effect and prolonging the life of our unit against attack.

Have Void, and Shatter abilities | We use this summoner because having the Void ability can decrease the enemy magic attack by 50% so we can focus to handle the melee and range damage, Shatter ability will destroy all armor from the monster we hit with only 1 attack. |
![]() | Mycelic Infantri, 1st position, attacker and tanker. It has the ability Shield,Giant Killer, and Enrage. | Put this here as a main tanker because it has Shield ability which will decrease the enemy melee and range damage by 50%. Besides negative status like Poison, stun, cripple, etc, the only weakness is the magic attack but because of the summoner Immortalist this unit decreases the damage of any attacks by 50%. Giant Killer ability will make double damage if it attacks a monster with 10 or more mana costs. This mell monster has slow speed but has great damage especially when the HP decreases and activates the Enrage ability, which boosts the damage and speed of the melee monster. |
![]() | Fungus Flinger, 2nd Position, attacker and support. Have Martyr, Blind, and Affliction abilities. | This monster's main task is to die and give a stat boost to all basic stats monsters adjacent to it (Martyr ability). It has good support abilities though like Blind which increases the chance to evade the enemy melee and ranged attack by 15%, although the unit in the Earth element has low speed we hope that the Blind ability can evade some attacks. The Affliction ability has a 50% chance to inflict upon attack on the enemy monster, when the enemy monster gets Affliction status it can't be healed again. Besides Blind ability we use this monster for anticipation if the enemy uses the Fire element and uses Jacek The Conqueror summoner who has Scattershot ability, if we are lucky enough the Scattershot attack may kill this unit. |
![]() | Goblin Psychic, 3rd position, attacker and support. Have abilities Heal, Affliction, and Silence. | This monster has many good support abilities, but the speed is only 1 easy to die when attacked by the enemy, so I put it in this position to make sure it's safe from the front and back attack, at least for a while. This monster can heal our tanker monster in the front. The Silence ability will decrease all enemy magic damage by -1. The Affliction ability is the same as the Fungus Flinger ability. |
![]() | Uloth dhampir, 4th position, attacker and support. Have Stun, and Triage abilities | We need this monster to Heal our Mycelic Slipspawn in the last position, and if the enemy uses Jacek the Conqueror this monster will heal any unit with the highest damage which does not in the first position. |
![]() | Mycelic Slipspawn, 5th position, attacker and tanker. Have Taunt, Forcefield, and Slow abilities | We use this monster because of the Taunt ability, all enemy units will attack this monster if they can. The Forcefield ability will decrease all damage from the monster who has 5 or more damage to become only 1 damage. This monster has Slow ability which decreases all enemy speed by -1. This unit's Taunt ability will be less effective when the enemy uses Jacek the Conqueror, because only melee attacks with Opportunity or Sneak ability will continuously attack this unit. |

Yes, the strategy is working :
- Our guess that the enemy will use the Fire element with the Jacek the Conqueror summoner is right, and we are lucky enough in round 1 the enemy kills our Fungus Flinger twice, boosts the stats of Mycelic Slipspawn and Goblin Psychic with the Martyr ability :

- The Heal ability from Goblin Psychic and Uloth Dhampir makes the enemy difficult to kill our unit.
