The Little League Ruleset - Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "Little League" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the ruleset of the game, All Monsters have the Knock Out ability. I used my account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I play in the Diamond league of the Wild Format. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly examine the game's Ruleset.

Ruleset IconDescription
Little League
Only Monsters & Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles. Monsters and summoners of 4 Mana or less will be the only ones available in this ruleset. Try increasing your defense by using summoners that give +1 armor or +1 health. Use monsters with at least 2 magic damage and 2 ranged damage. Using Mylor as a summoner in this ruleset helps a lot.
Noxious Fumes
All Monsters start the battle Poisoned. Higher HP and cleanse are the best choices. However, there may be some cases where you go for a big offensive attack and wipe out your opponent before the poison becomes a factor.
Rise of the Commons
Only Common and Rare Monsters may be used in battles.

Summoner:

I chose the "Obsidian summoner". It was a 54-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the Obsidian summoner so that my opponent's monsters would have an increase in magic attack. My team lineup comprised Fungus Flinger, Xenith Monk, Venari Marksrat, Wood Nymph, Madcap Magus, and Eleven Mystic.

1st Position:

Fungus Flinger, this card has the martyr ability. It is an 3-mana monster with a speed of 1, 1 range attack damage, and 3 health with 0 armor protection.

What Transpired in the Battle:

First, monsters took their effect from the summoner by increasing the magic attack of my monsters. My opponent's lineup comprised six monsters including the Cruel Sethropod, Xenith Monk, Merdaali Guardian, Angelic Mandarin, River Nymph, and Kulu Swimhunter.

In the first round, the Angelic Mandarin with the highest speed attacked first followed by another range attack from the Kulu Swimhunter monster which eliminated my Fungus Flinger monster. Before the round ended, I was able to attack and eliminate the first-position monster in my opponent's lineup.

Round 2: In this round, the Noxious Fumes effect was able to eliminate one of our monsters before the round started. My healer was eliminated but then I still had hope to emerge victorious.

The Madcap Magus monster in my lineup attacked and eliminated the River Nymph monster in my opponent's team. After the last attack in this round occurred, the Noxious Fumes effect took place.

Round 3:
In this round, I knew I would emerge victorious and nothing could stop me from winning the battle. The Noxious Fumes effect was able to eliminate three of my monsters leaving only the Xenith Monk.

With just an attack I was able to eliminate the Xenith Monk in my opponent's team after which the final round emerged. No attack was made in that round as the Noxious Fumes effect was able to eliminate the last monster and I emerged victorious.

Thank you all for your time and attention while reading my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
