Writing between Stories and Letters
Greetings friends, in the Writing Club community we want to thank you for the great reception that had the return of our initiatives, therefore, we invite you again to celebrate together the International Writers' Day.
Writing is one of the oldest forms of expression of human beings, throughout history, literature has been divided into different genres and branches that, day by day consolidate artistic ways of communicating, in this process as expected, notable creations emerged that transcended the barriers of time and were consolidated as the great references of literature, these include: The Iliad; The Divine Comedy; Dracula; The Tales of the Brothers Grimm; The Thousand and One Nights; Don Quixote; Pride and Prejudice; Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus; Wuthering Heights; Moby Dick; Iphigenia; Doña Barbara; or Red Spears, and behind each of these magnificent texts, lies the creativity, ingenuity, and magic of a writer.
Thus, every March 3, the whole world pays a well-deserved tribute to these creators who with their art, placed beauty in the written words, expressing through language their ideas, feelings, and points of view in various styles and techniques through poetry, books, stories, novels, essays, plays, news and endless ways that evolved hand in hand with technology, reaching modern spaces such as our excellent Hive platform. So we invite you to celebrate with us, the International Writers' Day.
Origin of International Writers' Day
"The creation of the International Writers' Day was proposed in 1986 by the International Congress of PEN Club, an organization formed by personalities from the literary, historical and journalistic world.
PEN Club International is a worldwide association founded in London in 1921 by the British writer, poet, and journalist Catherine Amy Dawson Scott. It is made up of writers of all literary genres (essayists, playwrights, poets, editors, and novelists), including journalists, translators, and historians. It has subsidiaries in more than 130 countries.
Its fundamental purpose was to recognize the outstanding work and contribution of writers in all fields, as well as to encourage interest in writing."
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
Write a story inspired by any of the great works of world literature, or by the writer of your choice to whom you wish to pay tribute.
Publish your post in Writing Club from the Front-End Ecency or the one you prefer and feel more comfortable with.
Only one entry per participant.
Remember that this is a literary community, so we encourage the correct use of writing, spelling and citing sources.
The text does not have a minimum word count, but we recommend that you make it worthwhile and great.
Remember to use the title: Writing between Stories and Letters / Title of the story.
Post in the language of your choice, but always include an English translation (we recommend using Deepl).
Comment on at least 2 other participants' posts.

Iniciativa Escribiendo entre Historias y Letras
Saludos amigos, en la comunidad de Writing Club queremos agradecerles por el gran recibimiento que tuvo la vuelta de nuestras iniciativas, por eso, los invitamos nuevamente para celebrar juntos el Día Internacional de los Escritores.
La escritura es una de las formas más antiguas de expresión del ser humano, a lo largo de la historia, la literatura se ha dividido en diferentes géneros y ramas que, día a día consolidan formas artísticas de comunicarse, en ese proceso como es de esperarse, surgieron notables creaciones que trascendieron las barreras del tiempo y que se consolidaron como las grandes referentes de la literatura, pudiendo nombrarse entre ellas La Ilíada, La Divina Comedia, Drácula, Los cuentos de los Hermanos Grimm, Las mil y una noches, Don Quijote de la Mancha, Orgullo y prejuicio, Frankenstein o el moderno Prometeo, Cumbres borrascosas, Moby Dick, Ifigenia, Doña Bárbara o Lanzas Coloradas, y detrás de cada uno de estos magníficos textos, se encuentra la creatividad, el ingenio y la magia de un escritor o escritora.
Es así como, cada 3 de marzo, el mundo entero le rinde un merecido homenaje a estos creadores que con su arte, le colocaron belleza a las palabras escritas, expresando a través del lenguaje sus ideas, sensaciones y puntos de vista en diversos estilos y técnicas a través de poesía, libros, cuentos, novelas, ensayos, obras de teatro, noticias y un sin fin de maneras que evolucionaron de la mano de la tecnología, llegando hasta espacios modernos como el de nuestra excelente plataforma Hive. Así que los invitamos a celebrar con nosotros, el Día Internacional de los Escritores
Origen del Día Internacional de los Escritores
“La creación del Día Internacional de los Escritores fue propuesta en el año 1986 por el Congreso Internacional de PEN Club, una organización conformada por personalidades del mundo literario, histórico y periodístico.
PEN Club International es una asociación mundial fundada en Londres, en el año 1921 por la escritora, poeta y periodista británica Catherine Amy Dawson Scott. Está conformada por escritores de todos los géneros literarios (ensayistas, dramaturgos, poetas, editores y novelistas), incluyendo a periodistas, traductores e historiadores. Cuenta con subsidiarias ubicadas en más de 130 países.
Su finalidad fundamental fue reconocer la destacada labor y contribución de los escritores en todos los ámbitos, así como incentivar el interés por la escritura.
¿CÓMO PARTICIPAR?
Escribe una historia inspirada en cualquiera de las grandes obras de la literatura mundial, o en el escritor de tu preferencia al cual desees rendir homenaje.
Publica tu post en Writing Club desde el Front-End Ecency o el que prefieras y te sientas más cómodo.

Recuerda que es una comunidad literaria, en tal sentido incentivamos al correcto uso de la escritura, la ortografía y el citado de las fuentes.
El texto no tiene un mínimo de palabras, pero te recomendamos hacer que valga la pena y sea algo grandioso.
Recuerda usar el título: Writing between Stories and Letters / Título del relato.
