Pictures of some flowers from my usual walking route. These beautiful blooms look like they’ve just stepped out of a cold shower, a little shaken, but still glowing. 🌸
मेरे सामान्य पैदल मार्ग से कुछ फूलों की तस्वीरें। ये खूबसूरत फूल ऐसे लग रहे हैं जैसे अभी-अभी ठंडे पानी से नहाकर निकले हों, थोड़े हिले हुए, लेकिन फिर भी चमक रहे हों। 🌸
The first two pictures are of those speckled yellow and purple blooms..Four O’clocks, I think they’re called. They have this almost old-soul energy, like they belong in a faded painting or a forgotten book cover. What caught my eye though was how the rain had deepened the green of the leaves. Everything looked waxy and heavy.
पहली दो तस्वीरें उन धब्बेदार पीले और बैंगनी फूलों की हैं... मुझे लगता है इन्हें "चार बजे" कहते हैं। इनमें एक पुरानी आत्मा जैसी ऊर्जा है, मानो किसी फीकी पेंटिंग या किसी भूली हुई किताब के कवर में हों। लेकिन जिस चीज़ ने मेरा ध्यान खींचा, वह यह थी कि बारिश ने पत्तों के हरेपन को और गहरा कर दिया था। सब कुछ मोम जैसा और भारी लग रहा था।
Then there are the bright pink flowers scattered in between layers of leaves..more playful, less dramatic. Some were open.. some still in a bud.
फिर पत्तों की परतों के बीच बिखरे चटख गुलाबी फूल हैं... ज़्यादा चंचल, कम नाटकीय। कुछ खिले हुए थे... कुछ अभी भी कली के रूप में।
Now to the daisies. Always the quiet ones, aren't they? I love how simple they are, and how they hold raindrops like little gems. I love how one daisy is leaning into another.
अब डेज़ी की बात। हमेशा शांत रहने वाली, है ना? मुझे बहुत पसंद है कि वे कितनी सरल हैं, और कैसे वे बारिश की बूंदों को छोटे-छोटे रत्नों की तरह थामे रहती हैं। मुझे बहुत पसंद है कि कैसे एक डेज़ी दूसरी डेज़ी से लिपटी हुई है।
And the last photo is the back of the flower, looking down onto the wet gravel..is easily my favourite. It's not a usual angle, but it’s real. We always look at flowers from the front, waiting for beauty to be obvious. But turn it around and there’s just as much happening...texture, shape, water clinging to the edges like it doesn't want to let go.
और आखिरी तस्वीर फूल के पीछे की है, जो गीली बजरी पर नीचे की ओर देख रहा है... यह मेरी सबसे पसंदीदा तस्वीर है। यह कोई आम एंगल नहीं है, लेकिन असली है। हम हमेशा फूलों को सामने से देखते हैं, और उनकी खूबसूरती साफ़ दिखने का इंतज़ार करते हैं। लेकिन अगर आप इसे पलटें, तो आपको भी उतना ही कुछ दिखाई देगा... बनावट, आकार, किनारों से चिपका पानी मानो छूटने का नाम ही नहीं ले रहा हो।
