What is monsoon season without fog? ☁️

मानसून का मौसम और कोहरा न हो, ऐसा कैसे हो सकता है? ☁️

I was sitting with my evening tea, just looking out of the window, when I noticed how beautiful the hills looked that day. The clouds had settled around the mountains, covering some parts completely while leaving others visible in between.

मैं शाम की चाय पीते हुए खिड़की से बाहर का नज़ारा देख रही थी। पहाड़ों पर बादल और कोहरा धीरे-धीरे छाया हुआ था और बीच-बीच में धूप कुछ हिस्सों पर पड़ रही थी। जहाँ धूप थी, वहाँ पहाड़ हल्के से चमक रहे थे और बाकी जगह बादलों और धुंध में छिपी हुई थी।

I could also see the sunlight falling on certain parts of the hills. The rest of the landscape was covered in clouds and mist, while those little patches were glowing in the evening light. It made the whole view look almost ethereal. The mountains, the clouds, the sunlight and the layers of fog all came together so beautifully.

मैं पहाड़ियों के कुछ हिस्सों पर पड़ती हुई धूप भी देख सकती थी। बाकी पूरा दृश्य बादलों और धुंध से ढका हुआ था, जबकि धूप से रोशन वे छोटे-छोटे हिस्से शाम की नरम रोशनी में चमक रहे थे। पूरा नज़ारा किसी स्वप्न जैसा और लगभग अलौकिक लग रहा था। पहाड़, बादल, धूप और कोहरे की परतें मिलकर एक ऐसा दृश्य बना रहे थे, जिसकी सुंदरता को शब्दों में बयां करना मुश्किल है।

So, naturally, I had to put my tea aside for a while and go outside. 😄

फिर मैंने सोचा कि इस नज़ारे की कुछ तस्वीरें तो बनती हैं। 😄 इसलिए चाय वहीं रखी और बाहर निकल गई।

I love how the monsoon changes the way the mountains look. One minute you can see the whole landscape clearly, and the next, a cloud rolls in and hides half of it. Sometimes the fog is so thick that there’s barely a view at all, and then suddenly the sun comes through and everything appears again.

मुझे मानसून में पहाड़ों का यही बदलता हुआ रूप सबसे ज़्यादा पसंद है। कभी कुछ ही मिनटों में पूरा नज़ारा धुंध से ढक जाता है और कभी अचानक बादलों के बीच से धूप निकल आती है। वही पहाड़, वही रास्ते और वही पेड़ होते हैं, लेकिन मौसम उन्हें हर बार एक अलग रूप दे देता है।
