Greetings to all needle artists and supporters!
Welcome to NeedleWorkMonday Community’s
114th Featured Posts!

This is a weekly curation showcasing the needlework of our very own HIVEians.

Every Monday we get together to share our love and passion for the needle arts, posting from the NeedleWorkMonday Community and using the #needleworkmonday tag. On all other days we use the #needlework tag. We enjoy each other’s creations, ideas, patterns, tips and shortcuts.

𝒪𝓊𝓇 𝓂𝑜𝓉𝓉𝑜 𝒾𝓈 𝓉𝑜 𝒮𝓊𝓅𝓅𝑜𝓇𝓉 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝐼𝓃𝓈𝓅𝒾𝓇𝑒.

Let us as a community, continue to show our love and support by visiting and commenting on each other's work while inspiring one another with the beautiful works of needle art that we do. Nothing makes a heart happier than to read a supportive comment from a fellow member!

Here are five wonderful posts chosen for our feature this week - Sewing Adventures:

(Es-En)Tiempo de Volar - Time to Fly

by @afrikablr

I felt I got to know @afrikablr a little more with this post. It was very astonishing how she compared herself to a butterfly as it goes flower to flower so has she walked different disciplines of art. She is spreading her winds and expanding her creativity!

Mondays are for Needles: How I turned my Long torned ankara trouser into Short pant.

by @eldecor

It’s always nice being able to hold on to the garments we love even after they’ve been damaged. @eldecor walks us through how he transformed his torn trousers into a pair of shorts.

Making A Jumpsuit With Leftover Fabric

by @wolfofnostreet

Do you use your leftover fabric until it’s gone? After making a dress with this fabric @wolfofnostreet decides to make more use of it by creating this fabulous jumpsuit! Why not make multiple outfits if you can?!!

🌹💜 Fabric flowers 🌹💜

by @firerabbit

These customizable fabric flowers were really great to learn about. I like the way @firerabbit formatted them and used wadding to stuff them. Very cute and decorative flowers that could last forever!

Garment construction // making a smoking off shoulder maxi gown

by @bimpcy

This beautiful African print fabric was used by @bimpcy to make this gorgeous maxi gown! I really love the colors in the fabric and the length of the finished product.
