Hello guys, it's another day to participate in the #ecencychallenge, where you get to talk about your experience with your favorite features on ecency app or web page. The challenge is on till the end of the week to participate join in and check for details here.
Today, I would talk about one ecency feature that started this year, first released on the web page before it was updated for easy access on the ecency app. This feature is called the "ECENCY WAVES".
Simply put, the ecency waves is a microblogging platform on hive that allows users or members create shorter contents, a means to boost engagement on the hive blockchain. One other beneficial aspect of waves is that when you comment you get to earn hive token and hbd, you could also get to earn points, and this also helps you climb up the leader board ranking, which brings about a monthly prizes for those at the top.
ECENCY waves can be accessed on the ecency app or on decks alongside leothreads and Dbuzz. This feature let's you talk about activities that do not require over 200 words just to describe your day, event or activities. On this platform, they conduct mini contest that has prizes embedded in them.
