I've recently turned my old desktop into a retro gaming PC. I originally started with Starcraft and Plants vs Zombies. I recently downloaded a Game Boy Advance emulator. It took a bit of time hunting down the files for Pokémon Crystal, but I finally found them.
I patched the original file with the Pokemon Core Crystal ROM. It has a lot of extra goodies and quality of life features added, like gym leader rematches, battles with Giovanni and even Professor Oak, which weren't included in the original Silver, Gold or Crystal versions.
It's a great trip down memory lane with a modern twist, and I'm loving it on my TV in surround sound!
