Esa Chica hermosa y elegante de la portada es mi madre y abuela de mi querida sobrina @lisrl26. La Señora Yeyita, como le decimos desde que tengo uso de razón.
Vive en la ciudad de Valencia/Estado Carabobo Venezuela. Es el motor que nos mueve a sus 9 hijos, nietos y bisnietos a agarrar carretera de donde quiera que estemos para recibir el año nuevo con ella, una mujer de 86 años de edad.
El 31 de Diciembre de este año, momentos antes de la media noche, prendemos el radio con alto volumen, todos los presentes hacemos una rueda en el centro de la sala y comenzamos a bailar y a dar palmadas, les confieso que yo me coloco al lado de mi madre para que sea la primera persona en darle el abrazo de año nuevo (feliz año). A las 12 en punto la abrazo y le pido su bendición.
Luego comienzo a abrazar al resto de la familia y me vuelvo un desastre dando el feliz año, comiendo las 12 uvas, pidiendo los deseos que quiero para el año 2023, sacando las maletas a ver si ese año me voy de viaje, buscando los dólares para ver si se me reproducen, etc, etc, jajajaja, la verdad es bastante difícil cumplir con todas estas tradiciones, pero se hace lo que se puede.
Tratamos de subir rápido a la terraza a contemplar la lluvia de fuegos artificiales que lanzan las personas de edificios adyacentes, es un verdadero espectáculo.
Eso sí con mi cerveza siempre en la mano, brindando y disfrutando de la dicha de poder estar en familia.
Dios permita este año que nadie llore, ya que a veces algunos de mis hermanos se pone triste por la ausencia de mi padre, el cual murió hace algunos años, pero luego se nos pasa con amor y seguimos disfrutando de todo lo que tenemos, comida, bebidas, dulces, postres, etc, pero sobre todo disfrutamos mucho y bendecimos el poder estar reunidos la mayoría de los hermanos con esa señora de 86 años y que todavía está llena de vida!

Bebemos hasta que el cuerpo aguante, unos se van retirando sigilosamente a dormir y otros nos quedamos hasta el amanecer.
Al día siguiente por lo regular desayunamos arepas o panes con pernil, como a cada quien le apetezca. Subimos a la piscina a disfrutar de una buena ducha y unas cervezas para la resaca.
Ya a finales de la tarde no hay ni una cama ni un colchón, ni una colchoneta desocupada, quedamos todos como muertos, Jajajaja.
Al otro día la mayoría se retiran a sus hogares ya que tienen compromisos laborales. Yo en cambio como estoy felizmente jubilada, (me sustento con lo que mis hijas y HIVE me dan) jajaja, me puedo quedar unos días más con mi madre y esperar la llegada de los reyes magos.

A fraternal greeting to all those beautiful ladies who pass through this nice Community.
That beautiful and elegant girl on the cover is my mother and grandmother of my dear niece @lisrl26. La Señora Yeyita, as we call her since I can remember.
She lives in the city of Valencia/Carabobo State Venezuela. She is the engine that moves her 9 children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to take the road from wherever we are to welcome the new year with her, a woman of 86 years old.
On December 31 of this year, just before midnight, we turn on the radio at high volume, all present make a wheel in the center of the room and begin to dance and clap our hands, I confess that I place myself next to my mother to be the first person to give her a New Year's hug (Happy New Year). At 12 o'clock I hug her and ask for her blessing.
Then I start hugging the rest of the family and I become a mess saying happy new year, eating the 12 grapes, asking for the wishes I want for the year 2023, taking out the suitcases to see if I am going on a trip that year, looking for the dollars to see if they reproduce, etc, etc, hahahaha, the truth is quite difficult to comply with all these traditions, but we do what we can.
We try to go up quickly to the terrace to contemplate the rain of fireworks launched by people from adjacent buildings, it is a real spectacle.
With my beer always in my hand, toasting and enjoying the joy of being with my family.
God forbid this year that no one cries, because sometimes some of my brothers get sad for the absence of my father, who died a few years ago, but then it passes with love and we continue to enjoy everything we have, food, drinks, sweets, desserts, etc, but above all we enjoy a lot and blessed to be able to be together most of the brothers with that lady of 86 years and is still full of life!

We drink until the body can take it, some of us quietly retire to sleep and some of us stay until dawn.
The next day we usually have arepas or bread and pork leg for breakfast, whichever we feel like. We go up to the pool to enjoy a good shower and a few beers for the hangover.
By the end of the afternoon there is not a single bed or mattress, not a single unoccupied mattress, we are all like dead, hahahaha.
The next day most of them retire to their homes because they have work commitments. I on the other hand as I am happily retired, (I support myself with what my daughters and HIVE give me) hahaha, I can stay a few more days with my mother and wait for the arrival of the Three Wise Men.
So far my participation in this fun initiative of my friend and namesake @tibaire, I hope I have complied with the established rules and that it has been to your liking.
