The Zombie Apocalypse is one of the most exploited themes in movies and television, and although it wasn't one of my favorite genres the recent HBO series "The Last of Us " made me change my mind and here I am, ready to defend myself from the zombie horde that is coming!!!
Happy #ladiesofhive day girls, the long awaited weekend has arrived, and what better way to enjoy it than participating in the #130 contest of this great community, and to my surprise I'm not late! Now I just hope I don't forget to post the link in the corresponding post, which is another thing I usually forget every time I participate.
And talking a bit about the contest I must say that the two questions were great but I was attracted by the option number two which consists in answering what would be my favorite weapon to protect me during a Zombie Apocalypse, and although until recently this kind of topics I rejected it immediately, it was enough for me to start watching the series "The Last of Us " for everything to change.
So here I am realizing that the world turns around and now I not only like that kind of movies and series but even in contests I want to participate! So over here I share with you my answer to question number 2, of the #130 contest!!!!
As I said, until recently this genre was not very attractive to me, so if I had seen the contest a few months ago, there was no way I would have thought of participating, let alone choosing a weapon that would be effective to defend myself from a zombie attack!
But here I am, surrounded by them, thinking about what weapon would be most effective for me to defend myself, and my choice would definitely be the GAU-8 Avenger machine gun,
one of the most powerful machine guns in the world, and with a range of
with a range of 1,220 meters would allow me to take out the brain-eaters without having to get too close to them.
So this long-range machine gun would allow me to kill them without running the risk of getting too close, which would happen with the use of bladed weapons for example. So this would definitely be my weapon of choice in the event of a zombie apocalypse, which I hope will never happen!

Feliz día chicas de #ladiesofhive, ha llegado el tan esperado fin de semana, y qué mejor manera de disfrutarlo que participando del concurso #130 de ésta gran comunidad, y para mi sorpresa no estoy llegando tarde! Ahora sólo espero no olvidar colocar el enlace en el post correspondiente, que es otra de lss cosas que suelo olvidar cada vez que participo.
Y hablando un poco del concurso debo decir que las dos preguntas estaban geniales pero me sentí atraída por la opcion número dos que consiste en responder cuál sería mi arma favorita para protegerme durante un Apocalipsis Zombi, y aunque hasta hace muy poco este tipo de temas lo rechazaba de inmediato, bastó para mí comenzar a ver la serie "The Last of Us" para que todo cambiará.
Así que aquí estoy dándome cuenta que el mundo da muchas vueltas y que ahora no sólo me gustan ese tipo de películas y series sino que hasta en concursos quiero participar! Así que por aquí les comparto mi respuesta a la pregunta número 2, del concurso #130!!
Como les comentaba, hasta hace muy poco este género me resultaba muy poco atractivo, por lo que si hubiese visto el concurso unos meses atrás de ninguna manera hubiese pensado en participar y mucho menos en escoger un arma que me resulte efectiva para defenderme de un ataque zombi!
Pero aquí estoy, rodeada de ellos, pensando qué arma me resultaría más efectiva para defenderme, y definitivamente mi opción sería la metralladora GAU-8 Avenger, una de las metralladoras más potentes del mundo y que con un alcance de 1.220 metros me permitiría acabar con los come cerebros sin tener que estar muy cerca de ellos.
Por lo que esta metralleta de largo alcance me permitiría matarlos sin correr el riesgo de acercarme demasiado, lo que ocurriría con el uso de armas blancas por ejemplo. Así que sin lugar a dudas esta sería mi arma favorita en el supuesto caso de un apocalipsis zombie, que espero no suceda jamás!!
