A lot of players thought that monsters without damage are useless. However, these monsters, sometimes, are the strongest when certain rules of combat are in place.
Briar Patch lets you take damage when your melee monster attacks. In other words, if you don't (and cannot) attack, you won't take damage, right?

Camila Sungazer's Price went down a bit from a couple of months ago. I remember seeing her market price at $21 and saying, "Oh, people starting to appreciate her." but now, it went back to around $18. If you have extra funds and want an efficient, more affordable summoner, I really recommend Camila Sungazer.
She's not good for an investment standpoint for a buy and sell though. If you buy one, I think it's better to keep it than wait for her price to appreciate.
Camila Sungazer's price jumps from time to time. Sometimes, it's 20 DEC and above and there are low times of less than 10 DEC for a level 2. Now, she's priced for 13 DEC for a level 2 which is decent in my opinion.

I got surprised at this when I saw Riftwing's level 5 price at $3. That was cheap. I'll probably buy mine soon if my financials went a bit looser. One thing I can certainly say is that the next time I feature Riftwing on my battles, I probably own him than just renting him.

Riftwing's rental price is low but problematic. His price jumps a lot so a lot of owners cancel and reprice. I don't think I have a riftwing rental that never got cancelled within 4 days. After 4 days max, I always need to rent him again because of the said cancellation.
You can rent a level 3 though for 0.10 DEC per day and 3 DEC per day for a level 5. One of the cheapest under appreciated monsters out there.

Camila Sungazer is a Legendary Summoner from the Untamed Series. Legendary summoners allows you to use higher level monsters at lower levels making her one of the most efficient summoners in the game.
Abilities
-1 melee. Decreases opponent's melee damage by 1 with a minimum of 1. Monsters that already have 1 damage before the effect applies are unaffected. It has the same effect and mechanics as Demoralize.

A very low 4 mana cost monster with decent 6 health and 4 speed. Riftwing also has abilities that are not only powerful but complements his stats. The only downside is that he doesn't have any attacks making him a passive monster.
However, this weakness becomes one of the strengths in certain rules of combat such as Briar Patch. If you can't deal damage, you won't get any damage back from Thorns.
Abilities
At level 1, Flying and Scavenger are unlocked.

Summoner: Camila Sungazer: My go to summoner for all occassions. Has only 3 mana cost and gives -1 melee to all opponents.
No. I made a crucial mistake of using Magi Necrosi during Fog of War Rule of Combat. Believe me or not, I anticipated the opponent using a Tank Heal monster. That's why I chose Magi Necrosi with Snipe to take care of that. However, the mistake was partly my fault. Fog of War disables all Sneak, Opportunity and Snipe during that battle. I said partly because the other part is I am blaming Splinterlands Mobile app. The app have a lot of bugs including showing of all skills, disabled or not, during the selecting of the lineup.
In the browser version, if there's Fog of War or Back to Basics, the monster's abilities will not be displayed if the rule of combat disables it. In the app, it still shows which was confusing and also the reason why I made the blunder.
Also, I noticed that the opponent is also using Baakjira, which is a 6 mana 10 health monster, as their main front line. This somewhat also proves my strategy as he's probably thinking the same thing. Since Baakjira doesn't have any attack, then he can't get damaged by the Thorns from Briar Patch rules of combat.
Realistically speaking, I think this battle is unwinnable on my end because of a lot of factors, from the rules of combat, down to what monsters I have available. An example would be changing Magi Necrosi to Venari Bonesmith level 4 which has poison ability. I don't have or not rented the level 4 yet during this battle so it's not an option during that battle.
Yes. If Fog of War is not included in the rules, I 100% won this battle. A big advantage of Passive monsters or monsters with no attacks is that they have good stats or abilities to compensate for lack of damage.
Also, since the monster cannot attack, they won't get thorns damage from the said rule of combat.
If I seem to forget to cite other sources, this would be unintentional. Please leave it on the comments below to be added in the post. Thanks.
