A trip, a flaw and to be thankful《🐦🔥》Un viaje, un defecto y agradecer (Eng/Esp) LOH~contest #261
Hello, greetings to the ladies and gentlemen visiting this group.
Today I am here to participate by answering the questions from @ifarmgirl.
It is always appealing to share experiences or points of view, and that is what we will do.
I have traveled twice in my life for work reasons, and it was abroad. The first time for five years and the second for three, and I never went with my family.
The first time was to Venezuela, and I went alone. Later, I was lucky that after a year and a half of being there, my husband also arrived for work, and we were able to be together. The second time I went alone and stayed that way the entire time. But now, even if they offered me the contract of the century, I wouldn't go. My parents are elderly now, and I will not leave them. I can't fathom being far from them if they were to get sick or something happened and I couldn't be close by. When you are young, you think about things differently; you have health, young parents who support you and stay behind holding down the fort. So if you are young, take advantage of all the opportunities life gives you, and if your family supports you, don't hesitate.
Changing the subject, let's move on to the second question. Well, regarding whether there are things I don't like about myself, yes, there are quite a few, but let's talk about my extreme sincerity and the "almost" impossibility of staying silent. Don't get me wrong, this has caused me problems; I have decided to remain silent many times. Most people don't like to hear the whole truth; I'm not talking about my opinion, I'm talking about the explicit truth, the one that no one can cover up, and I don't know how people can close their eyes and not see it. But as I said, I made the decision to hold my tongue so it doesn't run wild, and to stay silent. If it doesn't harm me or hurt others, only the one who doesn't want to hear it, well, I just don't tell them.
So yes, I'm getting a master's degree in not speaking unless I'm asked.
Moving on to the third topic: "Gratitude." I live grateful for this life, which, despite having denied and taken so much from me, gives me the daily opportunity to feel alive and useful.
Grateful to have my family, whom I love so much. Grateful every day for the people who do you good, for the sun, for the rain. Grateful to feel love and to give it without measure.
I like to serve and help people.
Feeling grateful gives you the pleasure of having received goodness and accepting it with dignity. Today, I am grateful for the fact that I am alive in body and spirit.
As Fayad Jamis Bernal once said,
And I quote:
With all the blows life has dealt you
and you still never tire of saying: I love you.
A hug.
