Having been on Hive for just under 2 years now, I am here to report that I am still a small minnow amongst a sea of whales! 😬🐳 However, just like anything else in life, everyone's experience is unique, and not everyone grows at the same pace. I do not expect my account to explode overnight, so it encourages me to learn something new each day.
Después de haber estado en Hive por poco menos de 2 años, ¡estoy aquí para informar que todavía soy un pequeño pececillo entre un mar de ballenas! 😬🐳 Sin embargo, como cualquier otra cosa en la vida, la experiencia de cada uno es única y no todos crecen al mismo ritmo. No espero que mi cuenta explote de la noche a la mañana, por lo que me anima a aprender algo nuevo cada día.
I am a bit ashamed to admit that my experience on Hive has been fairly consistent with that of Reputation 52 Friend's 😅 The last 2 years of my life have been chaotic, and unfortunately it has not allowed me to be as attentive on the site as I would like to be... The majority of my posts receive limited interactions (10+ at most), and so payouts can be quite small. It is always extremely disheartening (and frustrating!) when I especially put a lot of work and faith into a post, hoping it could be The One™️, only to have the same outcome like so many times before...

La mayoría de mis publicaciones reciben interacciones limitadas (más de 10 como máximo), por lo que los pagos pueden ser bastante pequeños. Siempre es extremadamente desalentador (¡y frustrante!) cuando especialmente pongo mucho trabajo y fe en una publicación, con la esperanza de que pueda ser The One™️, solo para tener el mismo resultado como tantas veces antes...
However, at the end of the day, I cannot complain! I never plan on leaving Hive. Although time and effort is required, sure, it is nice and convenient to be able to make an income through supportive communities and people, on your own time/schedule. Hive has remained one of my favorite sites to use to this day!

I think my biggest piece of advice to the friend would be to get more involved! 😀 Explore all of the different groups that are on here. Try posting content that you typically wouldn't--maybe this involves learning about some various topics. Get involved with the communities and make friends. Hive has a reciprocal relationship, so it is just as important to upvote, comment, share etc. other people's work!
¡Creo que mi mayor consejo para el amigo sería que se involucre más! 😀 Explora todos los diferentes grupos que están aquí. Intente publicar contenido que normalmente no publicaría; tal vez esto implique aprender sobre varios temas. Involúcrate con las comunidades y haz amigos. Hive tiene una relación recíproca, por lo que es igual de importante votar, comentar, compartir, etc. el trabajo de otras personas.
And, although it can be difficult, do not focus on the outcome. If you enjoy posting content, but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere, keep posting it! Treat it like your own personal blog instead. If you are passionate enough about something, like-minded people will eventually find you, and others will begin to notice!
Y, aunque puede ser difícil, no te centres en el resultado. Si te gusta publicar contenido, pero parece que no va a ninguna parte, ¡sigue publicándolo! Trátelo como si fuera su propio blog personal. Si algo te apasiona lo suficiente, las personas de ideas afines eventualmente te encontrarán, ¡y otros comenzarán a notarlo!
