Trickle-Down Looting

I think you've all seen the pictures from America, where riots and protests have broken out in nearly all major cities. Trump addressed the nation and said that all the looting and vandalism have nothing to do with justice, that it's all being caused by ANTIFA, and that it all dishonors the memory of George Floyd... Wow, he actually expects us to believe he gives a damn about Floyd's fate...

Trump's reaction is of the typical knee-jerk variety seen on the radical right; an empty attempt at virtue signalling, clothed in a total condemnation of the far left. ANTIFA, that is the ANTI fascist movement, are the real fascists in that mangled world-view. The angry poor are the real criminals, not the ones responsible for the forces that kept them poor. What a poor mindset to have...

Demonstrator Shares Heartfelt Message About Why He’s Out There

I'll keep this brief and to the point; what we're witnessing here is trickle-down looting. Not the wealth, but the criminal behavior of our capitalist figureheads trickles down on us common folks. Wall Street has looted the people for decades. Capitalists have exploited the labor of workers for centuries. And they've brainwashed us into believing that if corporations get richer, if capitalists get richer, their increased wealth would somehow "trickle down", we've been fed the line about "the rising tide that lifts ALL boats" far too many times. We've collectively trusted them for so long...

Krystal and Saagar react as worst rioting engulfs America since MLK's death

Now that it's all revealed to be a bunch of lies, now that the pandemic and the subsequent corporate-dictated government actions have exposed capitalism's true nature, it's only natural and to be expected that capitalism's icons are the first subjects of our rage. If you have a nice car, or a nice jewelry store, you'd better prepare for the worst. This is not to condone the violence, just to explain why it's here and why our leaders are the ones who failed society once more; they were always the ones with the means and power to prevent all this. If they made sure that some of their wealth indeed trickled down, as they promised for so long, this all could have been prevented. Capitalism favors sociopaths though, it favors the ones with the least amount of empathy and are most willing to set aside morals and ethics. What you reap is what you sow...

Krystal Ball: Does Wall Street looting lead to street looting?

Okay, here's one more about the gruesome misbehaviors of the militarized police. A couple of days ago I wrote that I'm worried about us having reached a point of no return; this might be it...
