Contest 5: Your most favorite director(s)!

We love movies for many different reasons, and we sometimes attribute our reasons as we feel like, may it be certain actors or story points or something entirely different. However, It is beyond doubt the true artisan of a film is its director. Yet we must also consider that not all film industries view this in the same light and we are aware that not all directors involve themselves in the filmmaking process to the same extent either. Some take it as a job merely, and some control the tiniest details as if they are the master of their universe.

And hence the films become drastically different. A film made by two different directors will never be the same. This difference is also why we fall in love with certain styles a director may possess. We look forward to seeing their newer works, while we fondly reenact scenes from their past ones. It is time to talk about the maestros that make the films happen.

Write about your most favorite director(s)!
