"El éxito es la recompensa de aquellos que se arriesgan sin miedo a perder"

Como la mayoría de ustedes saben, tengo un emprendimiento de postres y tortas, el cual es mi sustento principal y del que me siento sumamente orgullosa.

También, les he contado que me mudé, recientemente, a un edificio que tiene muy poco tiempo construido. Este edificio queda algo alejado de los principales comercios de la cuidad como lo es por ejemplo, una pastelería.

En este sentido, y viendo una necesidad existente en el lugar donde vivo, actualmente; hace poco empecé a promocionarme en la cartelera de informativa del edificio, ofreciendo mis servicios como repostera.

Igualmente, compartí esta información por el grupo de whatsapp de vecinos. Pero, tristemente, no hubo nada de receptividad. Adicionalmente, y con el objetivo de que los vecinos probaran lo que hago y de paso hacer nuevos clientes, esta semana, me decidí a anunciar en el mismo grupo de whatsapp que estaría vendiendo unos deliciosos cupcakes de dos sabores y con entrega incluida.

Los sabores que ofrecí fueron:

1. Cupcake con bizcocho de vainilla, con corazón de dulce de leche/arequipe, con un topping de mousse de manjar y decorado con nueces y chocolate.

2. Cupcake con bizcocho de chocolate, con corazón de Nutella con topping de mousse de cacao y decorado con mostacillas de colores.

Para ser sincera hice esa publicidad sin muchas expectativas, pues la mayoría de los vecinos son pocos amigables, pero aun así me arriesgué para ver si podía endulzar algunos corazones.

Sin embargo, y para mi sorpresa, el jueves en la tarde algunos vecinos me hicieron unos pedidos para este fin de semana, por lo tanto y con mucha alegría me puse manos a la obra y empecé a elaborar mis cupcakes para Endulzar Nuevos Corazones.

¿Y saben qué?

¡Vendí todos los cupcakes, gracias a Dios!

Bueno, la moraleja de esta experiencia es que si no nos arriesgamos a hacer las cosas, por temor al fracaso, nunca sabremos si hubiésemos podido acertar o si simplemente hubiésemos aprendido una lección más de vida.

Success is the reward of those who take risks without fear of losing".

As most of you know, I have a dessert and cake venture, which is my main livelihood and of which I am extremely proud.

Also, I have told you that I recently moved into a building that is very recently built. This building is a little far from the main stores in the city, such as a bakery.

In this sense, and seeing an existing need in the place where I currently live, I recently started to promote myself on the information board of the building, offering my services as a pastry chef. Likewise, I shared this information through the whatsapp group of neighbors. **But, sadly, there was no receptivity at all. Additionally, and with the objective of having the neighbors try what I do and to make new clients, this week, I decided to announce in the same whatsapp group that I would be selling delicious cupcakes in two flavors and with delivery included.

The flavors I offered were:

1. cupcake with vanilla sponge cake, with "dulce de leche" heart, with a topping of "dulce de leche" mousse and decorated with nuts and chocolate.
   2.Cupcake with chocolate sponge cake, with Nutella heart with a topping of cocoa mousse and decorated with colored sprinkles.

To be honest, I made that advertisement without many expectations, as most of the neighbors are not very friendly, but I still took a chance to see if I could sweeten some hearts.

However, and to my surprise, on Thursday afternoon some neighbors made me some orders for this weekend, so I happily got down to work and started making my cupcakes for Sweetening New Hearts.

And you know what?

***I sold all the cupcakes, thank goodness!

Well, the moral of this experience is that if we don't take the risk to do things, for fear of failure, we will never know if we could have gotten it right or if we would have simply learned one more life lesson.
