What an amazing Sunday afternoon with my love, friends and family. The biggest perk with BraaiBoy in my life, we get to braai every day! A fire cracking in the background with an ice-cold beer in my hand, is all the therapy I’ll ever need!
We had an awesome afternoon with our neighbors, BraaiBoy spoiled us by making a delicious stuffed fillet, chicken drumsticks, ribs, veggie kebabs and a creamy mushroom sauce on the side.
To start with, Gareth braaied some ribs as a snack, with the veggie kebabs slowing sizzling on the side. The only way veggies are supposed to be eaten, is with bacon, because bacon is life!!
So we had a bacon, baby potato and onion kebab and to add something green, a brussel sprout kebab as well. The sumptuous beef fillet was stuffed with garlic, spinach and bacon and served with the luscious mushroom sauce.
Is there a better way to end the week? Definitely not! Bellies filled to the brim, but hearts even fuller after spending time with our loved ones!
