Vegetable Bakwan for Afternoon Snack

How are you feeling today ? I hope you are all healthy and happy.

At this time I am back with new recipe. The recipe that I want to share is Vegetable Bakwan recipe.

Yesterday afternoon for the first time I made bakwan, this bakwan I made is vegetable bakwan.
Bakwan is a fried food made from vegetables and wheat flour which is commonly found in Indonesia. Bakwan usually refers to a snack of fried vegetables that are usually sold by street vendors (Wikipedia).

In Indonesia there are various types of bakwan that can be found, including corn bakwan, vegetable bakwan, and shrimp bakwan. Well, for this time I will share a vegetable bakwan recipe. The vegetables that I use are also easy to get, namely carrots and beans.

The ingredients needed to make bakwan are flour, carrots, beans, salt, pepper, and flavoring.
Here are the process of making Vegetable Bakwan :
Step 1
We grate one carrot and set it aside in a container.

Step 2
slice some green beans and mix them into the grated carrot earlier.

Step 3
Add enough flour, then mix well with the carrots and beans while adding water little by little until the dough thickens, then add salt, pepper and flavorings.

Step 4
The next step is to heat the oil in a frying pan and pour enough bakwan batter and fry until cooked.

After that remove the bakwan and serve. Bakwan is ready to be enjoyed.

Most suitable to enjoy bakwan in the afternoon. This Bakwan I made is practically successful even though it's the first time I've made it, because it tastes good and the dough is cooked and crispy, not mushy.

This time, my afternoon snack was accompanied by a plate of bakwan and a glass of iced coffee.
