A complexly healthy flavoured Beetroot Pulav(rice)

Today, this line is perfect for my this post. Sometimes doing experiments is quite interesting thing. Today, first time, I tried to make Beetroot Vegetable Pulav(rice) in our meal. My 4 years daughter doesn't like to eat Beetroot, so i have to make something special and attractive for her to consume it in any form so that she can have the nutrients and goodness of Beet . Like Beetroot Parantha(pink parantha),Beetroot yogurt dip(raita), Beetroot Idli and Beetroot rice. So that she can have thinking it's all pink in color. Something colorful attract our kids.

In my today's blog I am sharing a recipe of Beetroot vegetable pulav.
It's vegan and simple dish to have in lunch.
So let's see how to make and what we need.


INGREDIENTS

•beetroot grated-1cup
•rice-2cup
•onions-½cup
•capsicum-½cup
•carrot-½cup
•potato-½cup
•cauiflower- 5 to 6 florets
•peas-½ cup
•French beans-½cup
•Cumin seeds-⅓tbspn
•Mustard seeds-⅓tbspn
•raisins-5 nos
•curry leaves- 3 nos
•blackpepper-½tbspn
•lemon-½
•oil-3 tbspn


METHOD

1.chopped all the veggies.

French beans-

Carrot-

Potatoes-

Capsicum-

Cauliflower and peas-

Grated beetroot-

2.now heat oil in a pan.

3.add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilies

4.then add all the veggies and raisins.

5.add grated Beetroot.

6.Mix all the veggies well.

7.add salt, garammasala and blackpepper. Cook for 10 to 12 mins till all the veggies get cooked well.

8.now add boiled rice.

9.mix all well. A beautiful color will appear.

10.Sprinkle lemon juice.mix well.

Serve in a plate and have it warm!!! You can have with Yogurt dip or onion Raita.

This is really delicious, colorful and veggie loaded Pulav with nutrients of beets. Must try and let me know how it was.
