Our First Iftar Meal in Ramadan

Hello everyone

The blessed month of Ramadan has begun. It is a very important month for us Muslims.
In this month, we fast to rest both our body and soul.

It was a great chance for me that Ramadan started on the weekend this year.
During the weekend, I had the opportunity to get used to this new order in a two-day period. I work during the week. Lessons at school. It ends at 5:30pm and I will only have 1.5 hours to come home and prepare.

I hope Monday will be easy for me.

Now I want to share with you my Saturday dinner.

Since it is the first day of Ramadan, I wanted to prepare an elaborate table.

In fact, this month's dinner usually includes soup. However, my husband doesn't like to drink soup, either. That's why I didn't want to prepare soup just for myself.

Grilled chicken was our main course and I prepared a few appetizers on the side.

Bean salad with lemon and olive oil. I love this salad and make it often. It's not chickpea season right now. I made it last summer and kept it in the freezer.

Other salads are dried zucchini with egg.
Again, I prepared the zucchini here last summer. I dried it on the balcony of my house and kept it in the freezer.

Fried peppers with yoghurt and aubergine salad.

Everything I prepared was delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn't take time to take photos during the preparation phase as I was in a hurry to raise iftar.

It was a pleasant dinner.

Thank you for taking the time to post
