Dinner at Project 72 restaurant - Novi Sad, Serbia

In today's post I am going to share some photos I took last week while having a dinner date at Project 72 restaurant. This was my second time visiting and now I can say that I really like this place!

We started off with some white wine, I went for sauvignon from the famous winery Kovacevic located at the Fruska gora mountain near Novi Sad. Since I really liked spinach rolls when I was in Project 72 for the first time, I recommended those and my date picked goose liver pate that I never tried before. Spinach rolls come stuffed with leek, spinach and dill and wild garlic pesto. Goose liver pate is served with red onion jam, apple chutney, walnut crackers, raspberry and local sweet wine sauce plus homemade bread. Both were absolutely delicious and great in combination with wine.

Since we enjoyed our starters so much, we agreed to share the main dish which was a great decision as it was just enough for both of us to feel full. Main dish is duck breast with purple cabbage and orange puree, blanched carrots, crispy celery, Bermet and cranberry sauce. I don't experiment with meat that much and I usually go for my favorite which is chicken, but this restaurant has a great menu with different kinds of meat and it's great to try something different every now and then. We skipped dessert even though they look very tempting so maybe some other time I will try those too!

The restaurant itself looks very nice but chill at the same time, it has a lot of decorations and it's actually not big at all which gives it cozy vibe, ideal for dates. Music is great, not too loud and when we went there, only few tables were taken which is again awesome for first dates. Staff is super nice and friendly and overall it was an amazing night! I'll definitely come back again! :)

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you liked this mini restaurant review and if you're ever in Novi Sad I would definitely recommend you to consider visiting this place! :)
