Doing The Practical Way Of Life With DELICIOUS Food Preparation || The Use Of Mortar And Pestle To Prepare An African Man's Food 🍛🍛

Hello Hiver 💕💘,

This is also a very good aspect of life I cherish most and also the part of life which I totally learnt from both parents. it is one thing to actually go through some training with your parents and there is other thing to personally train yourself with it at the same time. When we were growing up, my late dad did a lot of work in ensuring that all of us know how to cook. At least a minimum extent. So at the time I started entering kitchen with my mum at the age of 10-11-12years thereabouts. So many people will lament negatively that it is too early to know some house chores which if you ask me it is not too early. at this tender age your mind is very fresh to learn thousands of things but as soon as you enter the puberty stage your mind begin to be distracted by so many things. so it is very awesome to start teaching your children as early as possible some professional work of what you do and so on.

I started on the job at a very tender age of 14 years old. Which I was taught some techniques of pounding yam. So today I'm going to give us some a little bit tutorial of how I do my own personal cooking with making of pounded yam. After I brought out a very white yam, I first of all cut it into required sizes, this is one trick about Pounded YAM 🍛🍛. You need to cut the Yam into required sizes at the same range and ratio. or as if you are a professional yam pounder then you already know what size you can cut the Yam into. So after passing through that stage I cook the yam for about 20 minutes, and after it was done properly I checked with a Fork if its soft for pounding. NOTE THIS ,NOT TOO SOFT PLEASE.. After that, I also already watched the mortar and pestle which I will use for the pounding process. I brought out and took some pictures of how it went.

After fetching all the soft yam into the mortar for pounding, then the next step took place.

THE POUNDING PROCESS.

I have a method of pounding yam which I'm going to share at the moment, there is a pounding skill which is called ROTATIONAL AND ALTERNATE FORM OF POUNDING YAM. This is the method I used personally, I'm going to Rotate my hand during the pounding process and also Alternate my hand during pounding. This method is very reliable and we didn't kill minutes you are done with the first stage of pounding yam manually. Also you repeat this process on and on until you are done pounding.

After I moved everything together I packed it inside the cooler to make it more hot to some extent.

At this point when you are done with all the yam, you had a little bit of hot water to make it more softer and thinner so your own satisfactory level.

At this point you are done on them and also the packaging is awesome. You can pack it directly into a dish plate are you eat with your desired soup or stew. Be it vegetable soup, Okro soup, Ogbonlo soup, white soup, Vegetable soup, Jute Soup and so on.

In my own case I used melon vegetable soup to complement the pounded yam as you can see it.
