Hello Hivers 💕💞,

This is a kind of foodstuff that is consumed by everyone here in Nigeria and also in Africa likewise in some part of the world such as the United States and also in some part of the Continent. There are so many food stuff that is being consumed by so group of people while there are some that is not consumable to them maybe the Preparation method or storage means. But I can assure you that here in Nigeria we have so many types of food which can be consume and digested as well. The mode of preparation can be analysed even though the process is more time consumable but nevertheless at the end of the preparation it worth the time likewise day amount that is being sold although presently we have increase in so many food stuff all over Nigeria due to the dollar increases as well at some point.

I would like to brief us about the mode of operation for this food stuff which is called cassava flakes. Cassava flakes is one of the common food that can be eating by even a mere common man in Nigeria. Although the price has increased even from the onset of year 2001. So here is the few process of making cassava flakes practically speaking. I don't really have a deep photographic section of how it is being prepared from the scratch but I will also try my best to explain more better and in a simpler form.

  • I saw this particular truck entering into the cassava flakes factory or industry while I was still there and I was so happy because it's also boost my article write up for more simpler explanation summary. So in short, this cassava truck was coming from a very far cassava farm which took 1 hour to reach there. So at this point in time the cassava truck we offload and they will start peeling the cassava itself which we also take a lot of time but after that process it will be washed.

WASHING:

  • The cassava will be washed thoroughly in order to remove and also reduce small dust and dirt from the cassava itself before it is being blinded by the manual machine. This manual machine is a very big one or do we have it in different sizes. There are some small size there are some big size and there are also some medium size. But in this particular factory they have a medium size so it takes a lot of time as well before completion.

GRINDING:

  • This grinding is one of the step that can never be overshadowed because it is a very important step in making cassava flakes. After the grinding process it takes a little while then you pack it into a sack. This sack will serve as a medium of extracting the acid water from the grinded cassava.

PACKAGES:

  • This package as I said earlier it will enhance more extraction of the acidic water that is in the grinded cassava paste. Because it has turned into a paste after grinded. The next process weighing.

WEIGHING.

  • This Wayne also is a very necessary step to take when it comes to the packaging of the grinded cassava paste simply because you need to know what a particular bag or sack weigh before you go to the pressing stage.

PRESSING STAGE:

  • This present stage also is necessary because it will enhance more faster reduction and extraction of acidic water after you might have package they grinded cassava paste into the sack then you write your name in order to identify it at this point. Then after you go to the Pulley to extract the water finally they will use a very big Jack to also power up the pulley in order for it to extract the water more faster and it will be left on the pulley for 24 hours or more depending on the extraction of the water.

SEIVE STAGE:

  • This seive stage will be done after two to three days of final extraction of the grinded cassava paste by this time you will be ready to fry your cassava into a cassava flakes. this is what I'm in the process is very long but the way I cut it short will make you to understand that at this point you use a very big wooden seive to extract the waste from the already dried cassava flour. Then you use the wooden seive to extract the waste until you are finally done.

FRYING OF THE DRIED CASSAVA FLOUR:

  • This are the dried wood I saw at this particular cassava flake industry.

  • At this point you need to fry your cassava flour which will take at least one down three to four hours in your dried cassava flour is much more than four to five or six dried sack. After this process you will also seive it for the last time. Then you reached this final stage which it will be ready for consumption.
